This ”small” hotel is really great, only a few kms from Lovina Beach but with an amazing view on the ocean. The staff is really great and careful with the customers All rooms have an ocean view and are quite confortable for a value for money just awesome. The pools are magic especially the main one with infinity view. The owner Stephane is very kind and careful with his clients and gave us lots of advices for visiting Bali. Hotel Is also proposing scooter rental for a very affordable rate. Very appreciated to visit the north of Bali Island Jerome

Sometimes you find a hotel or resort that immediately makes you feel calm, relaxed, and grateful you've booked the right place. Bagus Beach Resort is definitely in this category. From the moment I stepped into the vast grounds resplendent with old Bali charm, I knew it was going to feel like home very quickly. I was immediately greeted by the resort manager, Pak Widi, who is extremely friendly and exceedingly knowledgeable about the region's attractions and history, as well as about Balinese culture. Make sure you spend some time talking to him, he's a really lovely guy! The resort itself perfectly captures the mood of North Bali tourism: peaceful, relaxed, slower-paced, it's a bit like stepping back in time to 20 years ago, when travelers stayed for about a month, learnt some Indonesian and Balinese, whiled away the days reading books and walking, and just growing to really love and respect the place. The room I stayed in couldn't have been cozier, and was spotlessly clean. The breakfast prepared by Pak Widi's beautiful wife, Ibu Jero Made, was absolutely delicious - she makes the island's best 'jaje Bali' - traditional sweets. She's extremely talented, and a very kind soul. Bali's tourism industry will be suffering from the impact of Covid-19 for a long time to come, and the more remote parts of the island especially so. If you want to really make your rupiah count, skip the south and head up to the north. You'll be rewarded in spectacular sunsets and grateful smiles for doing so! A must stay if chasing dolphins.
The hotel is right next to the beach. There were a bunch of trimaran boats parked, all chasing dolphins.
I slept until 5:40 and walked directly to the beach to board the boat. It only took a minute's walk, which was very convenient.
The room type is a three-bedroom villa with a Mediterranean style architecture. There is a separate living room and dining room on the first floor. All bedrooms have separate cloakrooms. Each room is very large, and the toilet is even larger.
I stayed in high-end luxury hotels in Nusa Dua and Ubud all the way. I didn't have much expectations for this hotel, but it was quite pleasant to stay there.
The beach bar is very close to the beach, there is a guitar playing and singing performance by a local band, and the sunset is quite beautiful. Breakfast is a good set meal, lunch and dinner are average.
The sand here is very fine, much better than the coarse gravel in Nusa Dua.
It's a pity that it lacks care and there are a lot of impurities such as coral stones and seaweed. It definitely has potential if it can be properly prepared.

I found this place by default, after my previous accommodation, Shri Ganesh, cancelling my room to resell at a higher price, because of high demand over the Christmas break. It's about 500 metres from the beach, not a bad location, but no warungs close by. The rate I received was lower than the agencies by about 10%, good business at 3.30 pm, when they were unlikely to get another booking. The room was comfortable, aircon efficient, but wifi was very unreliable. Initially, it may have been because of a thunderstorm, but even after that passed, it didn't get any better, and reception's advice was to sit in reception, or the breakfast room, because it would be better there!! I had need to look under the bed for a battery I dropped, and my guess is that it has NEVER been cleaned. Dust, fluff, used drinking straws, and food wrappers were plentiful. There was no kettle or coffee/tea making facilities. I take my own coffee, but a kettle would have been good to have. Breakfast was basic, self serve juice and coffee/tea, and two eggs, any style, on toast, or Nasi Goreng.

Lovely resort with great facilities and very hospitable and friendly staff. Beautiful sunset views. Too far to walk into the main area of Lovina beach due to the busy road but only a few minutes away in a taxi which was very good value.

The staff and Location make this joint. The rooms are very good, large and well maintained, The Pool Villas are private and whilst at the moment they have some construction going on, you honestly would not know. The staff will run you into Lovina beach proper every day, and quite a few venues will come and pick you up and drop you back. The only downside to this place is the food. They need to get back to basic and serve the wonderful dishes that people travel to Bali for, forget the westernized menus of Burgers and Ribs etc. Serve a more traditional menu, Breakfast was pretty good. But the restaurant was the only reason this place did not get 5 stars. The staff are the best asset this place has.. a very relaxing time in Lovina, fix the Restaurant and you have a 5 star property in every way. Lovina is very laid back, no yells of ”transport” or ”taxi” no hassling from eager vendors, some polite questions as you walk past an outlet, nothing more.. A great spot for a chill out.

This place was absolutely amazing!! I’m so glad I chose to stay here. It was super clean and had the most friendly and bubbliest crew there!! It was off the main touristy location and was in a quiet area that had an ATM and little supermarket next door. Security was on point and would check the cars when we dropped back for anything we may have left behind, or they would take a pic of the cars number plate when we were picked up by transport.

Over all the staff is friendly and helpful.
The location is right of the heart in Kuta Centre, Central Kuta Park is ideal. But don't shock if you have to pay many times of the parking fee because the hotel doesn't have any cooperation with the parking system around there, if you make it to stay at the hotel in the next door. They have included the parking fee for that hotel. Every day Kuta Hotel doesn't have that privilege, so you MUST pay extra for the parking fee!
Room is basic, and ok. clean? as I have experience in 1217 room there were many stains and dirty on the bed sheets, the window isn't clean, and when you look outside. There was a dead mouse just right at the front. don't shock if the smells would be all around.
The bathroom is ok, will take 2 minutes to get a hot shower, you need to re-setup again as it wasn't a warm shower but super-hot water. the drainage is clogging, you'll have a flooded floor because of it. and it will take few minutes to let them go.
That was my experience staying at Every day, maybe you will have a different and good experience.
I booked for Room Only as I leave super early for my flight, so I wasn't experiencing a breakfast as I don't book it as well.
Will consider tor returning. not promise!

I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service). What a great post service! With this kind of service, I really recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Thank you Grand Sovereign, Matur Suksma Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL. 👍👍🙏🙏

SSuite RetreatsWhile the position is perfect and the service is wonderful, I didn't enjoy my stay at Four Seasons Jimbaran.
Out door pool area is lovely, however the cabana is super hot as the fans are very old and do not work properly, hence unable to work outside and enjoy the pool area. Water fountain does not turn off at night, and you can hear it in bed.
Dinner at Sundara was very underwhelming, again the fans not working and very hot and uncomfortable. Staff give you the menu and walk away, not explaining the menu whatsoever, and the print is extremely hard to read, with very dim lighting and no menu clip torch provided.
I chose my favourite dish (Its why I reserved this restaurant) and we chose other items off the menu which sounded amazing.
When the waitress came to take the order, the dish that I came down to the restaurant for, she said ”unavailable” !!!
They never mentioned this when we received our menu's and then we had to change our meal plans all together.
So we just ordered the selection of meats and salads (very expensive) and sat down disappointed, as I would have chosen the other restaurant or the buffet had I have known the Stracciatella/Burrata was not available. Now Burrata is a very easy cheese to make, and we were left puzzled as to why they did not advise us when we where given our menu's, but how they could not prepare (during the day) such an easy dish.
When our meals arrived, they where just average. Not much love and care taken in the taste and presentation. Some meats where overcooked and other meats where tasteless.
Pricing for the mini bar and room service was super extravagant, then 21% service charge added when you receive the bill. So one small bottle of bintang will cost you approximately $11.00 Australian Dollars. so 5 bintangs for approximately $55.00 AUD. Now that is a joke. Food pricing, even more of a joke.
Bathrooms nice, but small. No water in the bathrooms to brush your teeth, however in bedroom only. Water pressure was BAD and like just trickling. I like strong water pressure, as hygiene is important to me.
Very minimal space for 2 suitcases, so space for the clothing was under par.
Pool bar / cafe is extremely hot and not enjoyable. Again, fans need replacing and not working correctly.
No pillow menu beside bed, so unsure if they offer this.
Didn't like the pillows that where in the room - but that's my preference and others may be happy with them.
They still use the power points in the drawers! So must have drawers open to use the power outlets.
Streaming on the TV does not work with any devices, so unsure why they have this option. I ended up using my iPad to watch movies.
At breakfast, my team was served cold, (English Breakfast) and the loose cut tea, was to finely cut, hence ended up in my cup. I did not drink, as the temperature was cold.
For 12,000,000.00 Indonesian Rupiah a night, I felt ripped off and will never return to four seasons Jimbaran.
Far better properties for a quarter of the price around the four seasons. My rating 2 stars.

Great room on 2nd level overlooking pools joining level 1 rooms with private balcony. rooms were very tidy and had everything we needed. Walk to beach via Restaurant, Bar and pool. Great walkway along the beachfront as well as a number of alternate locations for meals. Beach was clean and a nice change from the pool. Out on the street some brilliant massage locations and shopping without the hustle and bustle of Kuta and Ubud. Friendly helpful staff topped off the experience. definitely back again .

Their kindness makes you feel welcomed and their readiness to serve you at every moment truly makes it feel like you’re on holiday. The rooms and facilities are clean, beautiful pool and water fountain. Great spa to get a massage at and breakfast was good. Shuttle service that runs to and from Ubud Centre (only selected times, so make sure you know the schedule).
Although I gave them a 5/5, the are still things I think that they can improve on.
1. Housekeeping is quite slow, I stayed at the pool one day and had lunch at the restaurant, after 3 hours I returned to my room and it still wasn’t touched by housekeeping. I also waited longer on the day of my check-in to get to my room. Although I arrived early and was patient and understanding to wait until my room was ready at 14:00 I still ended up waiting another 30mins to get to my room. This was a little annoying as they already knew I was waiting a long time and feel like they could’ve somehow speeded up the service. I understand they have their cleaning standards, especially for a new check-in. Maybe they need to employ more housekeepers to fulfil the hotel’s requirements.
2. On the day of my arrival the pool wasn’t open due to bad weather days prior to my check-in, which I totally understand and grateful they tend to the pool so well. I was however offered 20% discount on the Spa, outdoor activities etc. through a paper that was placed on my bed after I got into my room. However this coupon wasn’t explained to me and when I tried to use it two days later for a massage I was told it was only valid for the day the pool was out of service.
3. Breakfast - I understand it’s a smaller hotel and I appreciate any hotel that tries to contribute to the environment by limiting food waste by only serving certain about of dishes, however a better variety would have been appreciated, especially for guests that stays for a couple of nights. With that the buffet breakfast only came with a Balinese Coffee or Tea. This was not explained before booking the room and this information wasn’t given by Trip.com. It does however say the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea. But like many many other hotels I’ve stayed at and mentioned that the buffet breakfast comes with coffee or tea it usually means that there is a variety of coffee or teas available. And wanting a cappuccino or iced latte for breakfast would cost you extra.
4. The restaurant, drink usually came not as cold as one would expect it to be. I ordered an ice tea and it was more of a lukewarm tea. The beer they served was also not very cold and quite disappointing especially when it’s so hot and all you want is something ice cold.
5. The hotel entrance is a bit difficult to find, management can think of a better way to showcase the entrance/name of the hotel.
Overall I enjoyed the stay, it close enough to walk to Ubud Centre (about 15min walk) If you’re up to it. It’s beautiful, clean and a little peace of paradise.
Some services however need more attention to details.

The staffs Sumerti, widya and the team prepared a big surprise for my birthday, I really moved by what they had done for us. It’s certain that we will come back again to Hilton Bali to get relaxed with these awesome staffs.

Food tasty, there is 3 restaurants. I liked restaurant near main pool. Very tasty decaf coffe with out milk, and prices the same or cheapper than in reastaurants outside hotel.
Rooms big and good. Maybe something in hotel and in the rooms a little bit old, but its ok.
Good gym.
Staff normal.
Very cold in lobby toilets which are are fully automatic, like in Tokyo.

This stay we were not told about the breakfast not being buffet style well at least being dramatically downsized and put out the front at Papas Beach Cafe. The selections were bland and mostly asian style nothing like it was in October and that was why we rebooked! The pool deck is a accident waiting to happen very very dangerous. My daughter room key was re programmed at least 20 time is 6 days very very frustrating with 3 little boys in tow to have to go from 1 end of the property to the other to report it. On the good side the staff are amazing so friendly welcoming and 10/10 to the chef at Papa's cafe for inviting the 3 boys into the kitchen to make and prepare and serve the best Pizza's I have ever eaten. The Alam KulKul is in a great position and the staff are worth staying for but quite a bit needs to be done to make it great

YYSL5725The location of the hotel was excellent! Walking distance to Kuta Market and the rest of the shopping areas. Beside that, there's a convenience store nearby too. Dining wise, there is no need to worry, as there are whole streets for you to choose from. Seafood, Western, Chinese, or their local.
Hotel-wise, it's a little bit old. The balcony (city view) actually only allows us to see the roof of the hotel or the building next to it. There will be someone or some workers who will go up and do some cleaning, so it’s advisable to close the curtains whenever you’re not in the room. Apart from that, the balcony is a bit dirty, and we never open or use the balcony at all. Slightly wasted. The fridge inside the room is not really cold. Put to the max, but still the same. Toilet drainage is not fast enough and has caused water to flood.
The lobby area, especially near the reception, is slightly warm, and you can get sweaty. This also applies to the breakfast areas. Varieties are not many. Most of the day, the same dishes were provided.

GGuest UserWe have just completed a magical 10 days at Wyndham Jivva Beach. We are long term Wyndham members (owners) and have stayed at many of their hotels and resorts. Jivva Beach rates at the top of the list for us. It's just far North East of Denpasar to be out of the rat race but still within easy reach of Sanur and other tourist attractions. Apart from its idyllic setting, the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. A special mention to the head chef Gusti who has a wealth of experience at 5 star international hotels. His leadership ensured a high level of cuisine at every meal. And Wijaya, the food and beverage manager led a team of wait staff which would be hard to beat anywhere. There are no shops close by, but we booked half day tours using local drivers at very reasonable prices (IDR 600,000 for 5 hours), so we were able to visit many local attractions. We also took the ferry to the island of Penida across the Badung Strait ~ well worth the time to do this. We were surprised that the beach (which is very close), is made of black sand ~ not a problem for us, but maybe for some. In essence, we love Wyndham Jivva and intend to visit again in 2024.

GGuest UserAmazing hotel 1 the best in Kuta when it comes to the location, standards and keeping the resort clean and in perfect condition. Rare in Bali! the rooms are extremely comfortable, with full amenities and extremely well maintained. Beautiful Balinese style with high end products, similar standards with any international Hotels. Amazing pool size middle of a beautiful landscape, just hard to believe you are at the heart of Kuta. Breakfast is one of the best around Kuta too. So much choice to accommodate large nationalities, from Balinese, Indian, asia, continental, international etc… The staff is just amazing, extremely friendly and efficient. Nothing is perfect in life and things can happened! just address it to the front office and in the next 5 minutes someone will fix your issues, including technical issues you could have in your room. Ayu at the front office is a gem! what an asset to the Ramayana. She is so efficient and professional. Same with Endra at the Gabbah restaurant - what an amazing waiter! kindness and so professional with perfect English skills…. just another amazing asset to the Ramayana. The Resort manager is new and what a difference since he joined the Ramayana - he is everywhere, extremely friendly and really manage the property extremely well. My only negative comment will be the pool water temperature - too cold , the water should be heated same as any 5 starts hotel . Many guests were saying the same things…. pool water temperature should be warmer. Nevertheless it is my favorite hotel in Kuta 15 minutes away from the Airport in front of Kuta Beach….

KKelly ShaunLoved the interior of the room, very Balinese style room with a bath tub, the room size is good and very affordable.. hotel location other wise is really out of no where, not close to any restaurants or convenient store. Luckily we can order grab.. but still not much activity available in the hotel except for massage and spa, pool bar is not open, no one actually goes to the pool. It's near to nature so quite a bit of insects.. Staff and friendly and helpful.. There is only 1 restaurant and price wise is not cheap and food is not nice as well.. we were given bread and butter before our meal but even our butter is tasteless,unsalted.. the curry is very watery.. I guess after trying so many nice food around Asia, our taste buds can be quite picky so for the price paid, the food does not satisfy our desire for good food.
