10/10 amazing spa, hotel and we stayed in the cottages, home from home and beside the spa. Highly recommend with amazing views over the river.

I had an Elemis facial in the spa and it was absolutely fantastic. Excellent knowledge, professionalism and technique. The trea**ent included a massage which was also really high quality - with the massage bed being very comfortable. My therapist, Helena, was so considerate and made me feel amazing! Highly recommended.

What an amazing experience 10 out of 10. We stayed in a Shepherds hut which included a free mini bar which was restocked each day. It's set by the river and surrounded by nature very peaceful and quite. Service from the staff was excellent overall. Food was great, the buffet breakfast had a huge selection of food. An a la carte breakfast menu was available to. The Thermal Village was amazing we have never being so relaxed. Yes it's pricey but it's definitely 5 star all the way.

First time reviewing but I thought this deserves a mention. My family of 9 stayed in Charles Lanyon cottage, we had 21 people for dinner in Gillies. Check out was at 11:30 so we were hanging out at the house before going to use the pool. We arrived at the pool at 11:38 and were told we could not use the pool as we had checked out. This was not explained to us or we would have made sure we were down before 11:30. We ended up speaking to three different people for 40 mins and we were refused access to the pool. Our party spent £3k+ on a night away and there was no leeway to a policy which was never explained to us! We explained we only had a short time before heading home to our kids, unfortunately this was spent getting passed between staff with no one who could authorise a 30min swim. We found the situation totally ridiculous considering the money we had spent at the resort, we left with a bitter taste on what should have been a great weekend away!

All staff were professional, attentive and really pleasant. My wife has food allergies and everyone was proactive and helpful.
The spa is incredible, in both scale and quality. There’s something for everyone and you could spend a day easily exploring the spa alone.
Room quality was top notch. Very clean and comfortable with a mini bar selection of treats.
Food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was very enjoyable. Would happily return.

Inedible dinner at Fratellis and Spa packed beyond capacity. For my second year wedding anniversary, I was charged £20 for two glasses of Pinot Grigio served in plastic tumbler glasses in the spa. The bar man served the worst hot whiskies I have ever tasted, watered down. My husband left our luggage in the cottage reception by mistake and was told he would have to organise his own courier- no advice provided on how to access our baggage. Avoid this hotel- its a 3 star experience, with very little luxury and overpriced inedible food in a jaded hotel. Won't return & won't recommend. I'm sorry I booked this place.

My opinion - tired decor - expensive and poor quality food - restaurant dull and was not helped by the heavy ' odour ' breakfast fry was ' heavy ' with scrambled eggs sitting in a pool of tepid water!!!!! Can't see us returning. Spa probably acceptable but users not using showers pre getting into the water!!!!

Lovely hotel and bedrooms. The thermal spa is amazing, everything is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and very polite. I could not fault anything at the hotel bar the price which is getting expensive, but its worth doing as a treat
