"Stayed here December 2022, had a mouse in our lodge which the owners didn’t care less about. To be honest I can get over the mouse , these things happen however I can’t get over the attitude of the owners. Absolutely appalling way to treat guests. Incinuating I made this up in order to get a free stay is absolutely disgusting. Basically calling me a liar on the Google review almost 2 years later! They had previously left me a nasty response to my Google review but seems to have deleted it and replaced it with an accusation of lieing. The best about this is we actually went back for a second stay on September 2023 but you can be sure that will be the last!"

"The Lodge is warm and welcoming. Rooms are spacious with all amenities. Jacqui is a fantastic hostess, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. It’s in a great spot for being in a car - good parking - or for those who like to walk to local spots. I have stayed here twice now and would not hesitate to stay again."
