A beautiful quiet chill out place. Staff made me some food outside of kitchen hours as I had arrived starving. Wonderful place a little out of town so be prepared to drive to the sites.

The pure teak house is antique and located in a quiet and peaceful rural farm. Everything is natural and harmonious. There is a large balcony in front of each villa to drink tea and rest, looking at the misty mountains in the distance, which is very comfortable. We had the most amazing relaxed time. We stayed in many places but this villa was the best by far. Quite, relaxed and family-run. We didn't want to leave! Everything was perfect!

Although there are many flowers and plants, the most important thing is that I have not been bitten by mosquitoes! The bedding was not very clean when I checked in, but it was changed immediately. I don’t know what kind of care the hotel uses. The sheets and quilts are so fragrant that I can sleep well, and my little sister’s sleep quality has directly improved! I don't know why Ctrip didn't comment on this hotel. Anyway, I already plan to come to Chiang Rai in the future and only stay here! Wow! This villa is amazing! It is truly a place out of heaven away from the hustle and bustle of Thailand. The couple who own it are extremely gracious and they did so much to ensure our stay was comfortable. The morning breakfasts are truly a bonus feature and the rooms are exactly how they are protrayed online. We stayed here for five nights and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. After three weeks of touring in Thailand, the Rommai Villa was a welcome retreat. The setting was calm and tranquil. In the daytime the sounds of traffic was replaced by birds and the rippling water of the pond. Then at night there was no loud music or racing vehicles. Instead, we fell to sleep to the sounds of frogs in a nearby field. So, if you want to truly experience what Thailand country life is like, you will want to book a stay here and not for just one night.
