Hotels near Chandrakasem Museum in Bangkok

Stayed 2 nights - my wife and I in a superior room (1400 THB per night) and 2 sons in standard room (1200 THB per night). Everything about the hotel looked very close to being brand new. Our corner room with balcony was fine - well appointed, very very clean and very comfortable. Watch out though - I caught my leg on the sharp corner of the base of the bed which made my eyes water! If you stay, try to get a room at the back of the hotel - the road in front of the hotel gets very busy so I imagine the rooms overlooking the road may get noisy. Very secure building throughout with basement car park with plenty of spaces (we parked 2 cars there with ease). Breakfast is a fairly basic selection which is fine with me as I don't really do breakfast; others may wish for a wider selection. Wi-Fi strength was fine on Day 1 but medium-weak on Day 2. Staying here was a very welcome change from Pattaya as it's not a touristy area per se. I just wish my wife and I had both been issued with a room card - only having one key card between us was a pain when either of us went out individually as you can't enter any part of the building without your room key. We'd certainly return - it's probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in in Thailand (I don't do global hotel chains when on holiday as I stay in them fairly frequently for work). There's also a good restaurant in front of the hotel on the main road, although their waiting staff need a bit more training about some of the basics.

Basic hotel with basic amenities. Quite sad that request for extra pillow cost money. There’s many food stalls around the corner. Really nice cafe called Camin nearby too less than 5 mins walk from the hotel.

good service, cooperating staff of this hotel added a good feel at our stay at this hotel. massage centre at this hotel itself makes it complete at Thailand visit. Taxi serviced is also a part of this hotel, of course at their price

We chose Cinnamon Residence as our ASQ quarantine hotel for the mandatory fifteen night quarantine isolation upon entering Thailand from outside the country.  Cinnamon is a  basic, no-frills hotel.  Three meals a day, in plastic take-out containers were provided and dropped off on a chair outside our doors at 8:00, 12:00 and 17:00.   We chose all Thai food, as opposed to western food and found the meals to be pretty good.  The food, predictively, was delivered at or near room temperature, though there was a microwave in the room.  Any items breaded and deep fried came soggy, horribly greasy and beyond redemption by microwave.  I requested a china plate, a glass and a knife, but was told those items are forbidden.  Only the hotel issued Melamine plate, drinking cup, soup spoon or plasticware and plastic forks and spoons are allowed. The sliding window to the balcony was screwed almost closed and could not be opened beyond eight inches.  With that tiny opening, I did not have adequate reach for access to a towel drying rack under the air conditioner.  Residents are allowed to venture outside of the room only by special permission and have no access to the hotel gym or outdoors, whatsoever during their two week quarantines. In the best of circumstances, solitary confinement for over two weeks is difficult.  A couple of things made a nice difference for me.  When I had adequate internet access, I was able to pass the time much more pleasantly.  I needed to make several calls to the management during my first few days in quarantine, asking for attention to my WiFi to achieve that.  The information technology person in the hotel made several changes to my internet connection and finally achieved adequate connectivity for my needs most of the time.  I found that I was able to order grocery items online from Tops Market.  I could get fresh fruit that I craved, as well as other comfort food, I really liked having around.  I wonder how this hotel would have been for a non-public health related stay.  I don’t believe I’d return though, because coming back would likely bring back unpleasant memories of the experience of having been restrained here, inside of four walls for over two weeks.

Very good, the next day will come to stay again, the bed is soft, good, all the items are available On the opposite side, there is a convenience store.

An 11-story old luxury hotel (all 315 rooms) located at the corner of the government office called Berncain along the northern part of Bangkok. It is a hotel that boasts the style of the hotel which is not the only from the appearance of the hotel with a strong feeling of extrusion. The luxury making around the reception lobby cherry business center is unique to the recent hotel, and it can obtain a kind of expectation from the check-in stage. It is an old established that knows people in the Berncaine District, and it is a good hotel with a scale of the scale, but the reception staff is stationed in the place where the height of the threshold is not felt. I felt a fine care that would not bore the guest during the check-in procedure.

The hotel is not too big but very convenient for transportation. It was very close to Ladphao MRT about 3mns walking and very comfortable to travel which can change from the station to go to other places. The staff was very friendly and was kind. They let us late check out. The room was small but was clean. However, my little point was the noisy from the next door room or outside conversation. If you did not think to much with the noise outside of that was excellent. 8/10

The decoration of the hotel is relatively old, so I chose it because I saw it was a five-star hotel. The twin room has a bed 0.8 meters wide, which is very small. The hotel has a swimming pool, but it doesn't look like there are many people swimming there.
