- The hotel is not worth its money: it smells old, the swimming pool is small (and the water is too cold), and you can hear bikes and tuk-tuks passing by at night because the word “soundproof” is not about this place. Also every time some of your neighbors closes the door you will hear it as well. You need to really slam the door to close it.

I stayed in the cheapest room, which didn't have a view, but had all the basic things. No bathrobe, no slippers. The walls are a bit thin, so it's okay to sleep with earplugs. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean.
Looking at the photos online, it looks exactly like the real thing. The restaurant is right by the river. I was worried about the smell before I came here. But no. It's close to khaosan, but you can still feel peaceful. The swimming pool on the rooftop is salt water. very nice.

Casa Vimaya is definitely recommended. There is absolutely nothing to complain about :-) My sister and I spent two nights there at the beginning of our trip to Thailand and as we continued our journey it was clear to us that we wanted to spend the end of our trip here. It's centrally located, has a cute little rooftop bar with a pool and the rooms are clean and tidy, the staff is very friendly and always helpful. Because the taxi that we had ordered to pick us up at the airport unfortunately misplaced us, the receptionist made sure that we got another taxi for the previously negotiated rate and so we were able to start our journey home on time. At this point, thank you again for that.

Perfect location for exploring the Khao San Road but still having a peaceful night sleep. The room is clean and well equipped, even a very small balcony for smoking convenience and watching the many monitor lizards !!
