Elegant and contemporary hotel with excellent service from every staff member whom I encountered. About 10 to 15 minutes. Walk from the nearest SkyTrain Station but a fantastic air-conditioned shuttle bus operates every 15 minutes from the hotel to the station and back. Rooms on the lower floors have not been renovated and retain a darker traditional tire style which may not be to everyone's taste. Therefore, it is well worth paying the nominal 300 baht per night surcharge for the newly refurbished rooms which are far brighter and more contemporary with upgraded technology.
Well-equipped gym and enormous freeform pool which is equally suitable for lap swimming.
Slept very well on a very comfortable mattress with silky soft linens. I really could not find any issue to fault except for the fact that windows are not double glazed and traffic is occasionally audible.

Located in Bangkok's business district, the surrounding environment is relatively quiet and orderly. Conrad Bangkok is one of my favourite hotels here because of the professionalism and generosity of the staff. I love the large rooms and elephant souvenirs, as well as the service in the executive lounge.

Hotel worth the money
It's old and has a bit of a smell in the hallways and rooms, but the service is satisfactory, worthy of a five-star rating.
