Had a really nice 2 nights at the Love Local home stay. The staff went above and beyond with sorting out an early check in, letting us leave our bags there in the morning before check in and helped us out when we had a slight leak.
You get more than your monies worth, beautiful room, great staff and really close to the metro which makes getting around a lot easier.
Our room had a tin roof which we loved, but if you are a light sleeper you may get woken up with the rain or cats on the roof. We really liked the sound though.
The small rooftop garden was a nice addition but we found it by chance. Steep ladders to access though so not for everyone.
WiFi was good, didn’t have anything from the cafe downstairs so no comment to that.

Good location, but I chose it because the information when booking said that there was a parking space, but actually there wasn't any and it was quite difficult to find a place to park. Because it is a popular tourist destination.

The location is very close to the subway station, and it is also close to Chinatown. It is a very small hotel with nostalgic decoration. It is completely self-service when checking in and checking out!

Very good location, just 100 meters from the mrt station, near a convenience store. Next to it, there is a stall with soy sauce, good taste, clean rooms, decorated in vintage style. There is a small garden on the roof. The a**osphere is great Downstairs is a cafe. There is also a free drink card.

We arrived around 8+pm. Entrance is through the cafe. Had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Room was cosy but the bathroom was tiny. We had a really comfortable stay. Love the location. We enjoyed exploring the area the 3 days that we were there.
