Raweewan Residence Hotel

My wife and I stayed here 2 nights, arriving by rental car from Prachinburi at noon and parking in front. A nice receptionist processed our prepaid check in, copied my passport as I signed a form and received our key. We followed the porter to the elevator to the 3rd floor. Room #138 was wood-floored and clean. The tiled entryway had a sink, separate toilet room with tile shower and good hot water, then a closet unit with nice sized fridge, hot pot with coffee/2 waters, table with 2 chairs, firm king bed, TV(~20 channels, no English), strong secure wifi, good lighting/outlets. The central AC vented toward the sliding door which opened to the balcony with an interior garden view. We swam laps in the beautiful clean 30’ x 60’ 4+’ deep pool. Overall, friendly staff, lots of parking, a quiet night’s sleep and good freeway access to BKK Airport. This upscale hotel, overlooks the Panya Indra Golf Club, has a front gate directly to the 7-11/Cafe Amazon/PTT/several eateries, and a rear gate access providing a peaceful 600m walk on a concrete drive directly ahead to the Promenade Mall which connects to the huge Fashion Island Mall.

Stayed a total of 16 nights. 9 of which overlooked the Panya Golf Club course 5 and 6th holes. Good sized balcony to watch the golfers and have a coffee. The other room overlooked the internal garden area which is maintained beautifully. The rooms were large with a good shower and tv. A great place as a base if you need to stay in the area. The pool was always maintained great and it was pretty much ours alone most of the time. No restaurant onsite but plenty of options a short walk away. 7-11 next door with assorted shops (Amazon), etc. Friendly staff and the front desk is open 24/7. Will be back.

-rattling of rats in the ceiling at night time. Totally infested by rodents. -no fitness area -hotel office is limited to 8am to 8pm (closed beyond this time) only -unprofessionally managed by inhospitable non-Thai office staffs who are never concerned about service. -room telephone is just room to room capacity, no outside line and cannot accommodate incoming calls -unstable internet services. -when you raise concerns to office staffs, they are trained to reply: “we have nothing else to say as your rental contract is finished or limited.; and that everything is upon the hotel’s final decision” . -pathways are slippery and floods up even during regular downpours.
