The door lock broke after I checked in. I had to go back and forth to fix the door lock for 40 minutes. My child and I couldn't rest. I looked at the view outside the window and asked to change rooms. They said there were no rooms. The staff only said sorry.

I have stayed at Anantara in Bangkok for no less than 10 times. The room rate has increased from 700+ at the beginning to 1400+ now. There are still many obvious differences from before the mask.
There is a construction site on the west side of the hotel, and the noise is very loud. The west wing, which was originally in a good location, is now very noisy.
There are a lot of Korean guests in the swimming pool, and the key is that they are not swimming. Because there are too many people, swimming rings are not allowed to be used. If the policy changes, it must be clearly informed during C/I.
The restaurant is very crowded, probably because the temperature is high and everyone is crowded indoors, but the dining area next door can be opened. When I checked in before, the number of people dining may be twice as many as now, and it didn’t seem crowded, but now there is really no environment to speak of.
The dining guide must be determined after the guests’ preferences are determined before taking them to the seats, otherwise what is the point of waiting in line.
There was a power outage on the second day of check-in. When the outdoor temperature is 40°, the power outage from 1 to 5 pm is unacceptable.

We love this hotel sooo much.So beautiful and lovely views and boat ride.the staffs are soooo attentive to details.They provide birthday cake with glass dome cover and not a plastic wrap like most hotels.They even fold our left clothes when we were out and kept room tidy.They even gave 2 glass bottles to drink when we check out.We love the place so much and miss so much. Defintely recommended.A gem in bangkok.And staffs follow u till you are in your taxi and wish you.wow!

The whole hotel is very Thai style. There is a view at every step. It is right by the river. It is very pleasant to enjoy the view during breakfast. It is a very historic hotel.
