Great value. A decent property with good hospitality. Some of the rooms are recently refurbished. Yes, the elevators feel tired. The breakfast was good. They have shuttle bus that take to bigger malls.

We had a fantastic stay at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium! The staff were incredibly welcoming, the room was cozy and well-equipped, and the pool area was perfect for relaxing. Would definitely come back again for another couple’s trip.

Warning: if you check my other hotel reviews, I usually am able to find some good points but this hotel has none. Beautiful photos, recognized hotel brand, great price. This hotel looked ideal online but you will be better off finding a smaller hotel at the same price point. This hotel is poorly maintained. Elevators are so slow, that in once instance after a 10 minute wait in line a staff escorted us to the back of house to use a service lift. Then the broken/damaged appliances. Including a landline phone (which I had to use to call front desk for help) had static throughout the call, there was also a broken kettle and a closet door that didn’t close properly meant the closet light was in your eyes all night long. Air conditioner filter clearly showed that it had not been cleaned for months and a well worn bed that tilted to one side made you feel you were sleeping on a slope ready to roll down at any minute. Their idea of a king size bed is putting two beds placed together as one — good luck if you sleep in the middle of the bed. Then there is the bathroom with black mold on the ceiling and grout. We spent as little time as possible in there. There was also a lizard that was in the hallway for our entire trip, even though we asked the front desk and housekeeping to remove it on several occasions. I can’t leave out the dreaded traffic jams in front of the hotel that made the last 5km take longer than our trip from the airport. Conclusion: look elsewhere

a big Clean room, the view was very nice. Location is on a very busy road to get there. but you won’t hear the noise from outside. It’s quite far from tourist attractions.
