This hotel is now called Orion Rooms Sukhumvit 18. I stayed two nights here and have to say the room was nasty to the point I wanted to leave and just book another hotel. Negatives: Small room Dirty room No safe box Cigarette smell in room Ants in room Mold in bathroom, grimy tile grout Many things broken in the room Nasty old sheets Worn out towels Positives: Good location just a stone’s throw from Terminal 21 Friendly front desk staff

Toch weer gekozen voor dit hotel. Heeft alles te maken met de ligging. Heel Bangkok ligt aan je voeten vanaf deze lokatie. Deze keer was de lift stuk. Alle hotelgasten werden zo laag mogelijk gehuisvest.

With a new ownership comes some changes. Apparently it will soon become ORION hotel. But it remains a small (20 rooms) friendly hotel in one of the most convenient places in BKK = at the junction of the MRT & BST ! It is a no-frills place to lay your head; no internal restaurant, but is within walking distance of literally 100s of food outlets, Lowered post-COVID prices make it even more attractive.
