It's within walking distance to everywhere, including Terminal 21, and even if you want to go somewhere far away, the subway and BTS stations are within walking distance. The hotel service was good and the hotel was clean.

1분 거리에 소이 카우보이, 아속역, 아속 터미널21, 나나 플라자 등 접근성 최고입니다.
그냥~ 나는 아속역에서 즐기고 싶다. 그럼 그 중심에 있는 호텔입니다.
호텔 서비스에 대해 이야기 하자면, 직원분들(청소, 카운터, 식당 모두) 너무 친절했고, 조식도 맛있어서 머무는 기간 조식 다 먹었습니다.
방콕의 아속에 자리잡고 싶다 하면 추천할만 합니다.

I have been to the Taipan 3 times now. The location and the quality of the room are excellent. Staff always attentive to the needs of the traveller.
It is my go to place in Bangkok close to large malls , Asok BTS AND MRT stations and surrounded by great places to dine. If the EM Quarter is your target you have great amenities at the Taipan.
Pool and Gym for those than can’t downtime. Recommended.

Decent value for money but could do with an upgrade. For example the bathroom door kept closing, knocked a glass out of my hand then they charged me because the glass broke. They only care about money the Thais

I chose a cheap hotel within walking distance of Sukhumvit Station. It's worth the price. However, deterioration over time cannot be denied; for example, elevator doors do not open smoothly. There was supposed to be a washing machine, but there wasn't. I went to a nearby laundry shop, but it was quite expensive. Replenishment of amenities is also incomplete. Once the tea bags etc. are gone, it's over. I don't have a bad impression of the staff, but the manager...
The pool and gym/sauna were comfortable. It's quiet for the Sukhumvit area, so I guess it's worth the price.

A normal three-star hotel, but what deserves extra points is the swimming pool and gym on the 5th floor. The hotel location is very convenient, and there are one of the few smoking floors in Bangkok which is a plus. I will stay here again next time I come to Bangkok.
