Bangkok Suan Luang Hotels

It's a very large hotel set right upon the railway line, that's a direct walkway to the station. Checkin was very busy and staff weren't so friendly on all interactions with them, but efficient and functional. Bear in mind that you're going to get noise whether you're in the rail line side or other side from traffic, but if you close the bathroom door the noise is minimized. There was a jug and 2 mugs in the room, nice new bedding and a clean renovated bathroom. Noise from the corridor can be loud with people talking and doors slamming but again, for the price it's quite a good option with an undercover walkway across a busy road to the airport rail line which makes for an easy early morning flight. There's a 500thb deposit, for what I don't know, the rooms are pretty spartan, anyway never mind. That's all, I'd have to have a think if I'd stay again. Hope this helps, good luck

Pros: * Overall: A new, clean & spacious Hotel even though only 3.5 stars. * Price: Affordable room price which is inclusive of breakfast & WiFi. * Staff: Friendly, helpful & prompt. * Room: Spacious with kitchenette, sofa, working desk, dressing/make-up area & bathtub. * Additional Merits: Lift is customized for wheelchair (one of the rare initiative by small hotels). * Instagramble Hotel (though we didn't take much photos because not our priority). Cons: * Location: Nothing along the street except a coffee house which is a walking distance too (along the main road). * Breakfast: Yummy traditional Thai and Western cuisine, but everyday is same food, We stayed for 5 nights so by the 3rd day we started to get bored of the same food. * Swimming Pool: size of a Jacuzzi tub and too exposed (on the street). * Convenience Store: should make use of the empty store space (beside the swimming pool) to open a convenience store for Hotel Guests. * Hotel Signage at main road: As per attached photo, there is a lighted Hotel signage along the main road during the evening hours. However, when we returned back to Hotel late at night, the light was switched off and thus Drivers had difficulty to find it in the dark. Suggest to on the power till dawn. * Soundproofing: Needs improvement as able to hear the noise at corridor. * WORST CON: We would give a 5 star rating to Onyx Hotel if not for this issue - No peace enjoyment at times, especially when the tour group are out/back from activities. Morning we are awaken by loud conversations, even to the extend of shouting & screaming. Night is even worse - guests gather at the level 4 common area to chit chat till late and one guest even took a chair to sit at the corridor & blast loud music on HP. Sincerely hope the Management can improve on this area. OVERALL: Will stay there again if going to RCA area everyday.

Just going during the rainy season, everything is good, but it splashes inside the elevator, making it feel strange, strange, but excited.

It is only three stops away from the Suvarnabhumi Airport Line and just a few minutes walk from the Huamu MRT Station. It is very convenient to return to the airport and go to the city. There is a 711 downstairs. The hotel is clean and the price is very affordable. It's a pity that there is no breakfast.

Very comfortable, friendly staffs, good value for breakfast. Although the train station is 500m from the hotel, it's gonna be quite challenging to drag your luggage from the Ramkhamhaeng ARL station. The hotel is also very near with halal restaurant which is Sophia Restaurant. The only weaknesses is that when the room service clean up your room, they didn't top up the bottled water, tissues, laundry bag is only for one person although our room is superior twin that is for two persons. The hotel also didn't provide toiletries such as toothbrush and toothpaste so you need to bring it by your own. You can take the taxi from the hotel to Suvarnabhumi airport and its cheap, only cost us 100++ bhat. Overall a good and pleasant stay here and would be happy to stay here again when I'm travelling to Bangkok again.

Our stay at Shan villas was excellent! This is a new hotel in the heart of Bangkok and it did not disappoint! Great location, a short trip from the On Nut Station. The villas are spacious with a great open air concept, beautiful interior and really beautiful pool! We highly recommend booking the jacuzzi villa as you can spend time with your friends in a villa that is very reasonably priced! We had the warmest welcome from all Staff members and we treated exceptionally well, they made us feel at home instantly and assisted us at all times for anything we might have needed, our stay was truly made by the incredible service we received, the food was the highlight of the stay! We opted for the floating breakfast and it was amazing, and a night at the rooftop dome dining experience, the food was delicious and top quality seafood too! Very fresh and both options of Thai and Western food! We would definitely stay at Shan villas when we are back in Bangkok! A huge thank you to all the staff who made our stay so memorable! We will be back and would highly recommend this stay!

I stayed here for 5 days due to I had bussiness meeting in Bangkok. One of the reason why I had chosen this hotel coz located near airport link Hua Mak, 5 minutes away by walk. This hotel not too big but I loved all the facilities, where the gym and steam room available in 24 hours. I felt relax after I had my meetings. Unfortunately, the swimming pool closed early at 7pm. Super friendly the staff, big thanks to Rizki, such a lovely guy! He made sure that I didn't get lost when I used the skytrain. He gave me a map of the train line. He helped me when I had problem with the wifi for my urgent online meeting. I booked room only, but I had tried the breakfast and to be honest I didn’t like it. The food was served cold and not many choices but I had pork ribs steak for my dinner and tasted yummy with a bottle of beer. The restaurant closed at 11pm but no worries, if you like to drink there is a bar near the airport link station which is open until late midnight only. I felt comfortable and enjoyed my stay, my studio room big enough but the air conditioner looks old. Thanks to Mon, if I’m not mistaken her name. She cleaned my room every day and super easy going. Such a good experience that I had, home away from home.

A very new and clean hotel at a good price, quite well located near a shopping center within walking distance, at the beginning we couldn’t find my reservation and we lost a little time, but after writing to trip support, everything was resolved in about 15 minutes. The hotel staff are very friendly. The transfer to the airport turned out to be a bit expensive for us, 500-600 baht, so we had to look for a taxi on the street. We only used the hotel as a transit place to spend the night for a few hours.

When we are transit to Pattaya city, we have stayed Zayn Hotel for around 3 hours, not in the main building, rooms are quite small however very well designed with balcony, really liked architecture of the room, elegant bathroom with shower geaser, had breakfast at the restaurant authentic Thai breakfast we liked it, reasonable price.

The hotel is generally good, and the service environment is all right. There is a big shopping mall across the road, which is very convenient to buy and eat. There was one thing that made me very broken. I asked the hotel to call a taxi. There was no one time when the destination was the right one. I told them that I knew it. Then I didn't know how they communicated with the driver. 😂
