Best Hotels near Si Phraya Junction, Bangkok

We stayed here as part of our hotel-hopping experience in Bangkok. We stayed at AGO Chinatown Hotel, Park Hyatt, Capella, and Four Seasons. (All reviewed separately). It was difficult to choose from the plethora of hotels in Bangkok but we selected this one based on its proximity to Chinatown and the quality of the Breakfast served. This small hotel is brand new, yet has a quaint and boutique feel. The owner has decorated the lobby with family heirlooms and antique furniture. I could tell this is a labor of love. The cosy rooms are neat and comfortable, with wood floors, new showers, and Villeroy & Boch sinks. Our room was facing the canal, not quite Venice or Amsterdam, but delightful nonetheless. I slept well on the firm bed that is typical in Asia. The highlight of our stay was their farm-to-table breakfast. The Signature Smoothie was one of the best smoothies I've ever had. It's made from fresh kale harvested from their garden, pineapple and banana. They had my favorite congee with homemade Thai dishes by a local chef. Their garden salad with sesame dressing is a must-try. They also offer gourmet coffee, cappuccino and espresso. Frankly, their breakfast alone was worth the room rate, which I feel is an absolute steal. The owner Vee was kind enough to give us a guided foot tour of the historical area adjacent to the hotel. He also recommended some amazing street food and restaurants near the hotel. We tried the best Boat Noodles, Michelin star Pad Thai, Crab Fried Rice, Shark Fin Soup (sorry animal lovers) and went to an open-air restaurant with wine, steak, and jazz music. There's also delicious Suckling Pig and street-food galore in Chinatown. This is the best hotel for Foodies in Bangkok!

My family opted to stay in this hotel for about 1 week. The hotel is situated in very convenient location: MRT station is right in front of the hotel ( u see the exit to” Bangkok Centre Hotel” on your arrival at the Hua Lamphong station, select this rather than looking for Hua Lamphong Hotel itself as this hotel is a small hotel while Bangkok Centre Hotel is a bigger one just nearby). When u look at the map visible inside MRT train, u can see the railway symbol above the name Hua Lamphong station. Yes, railway station is just on the opposite side of our hotel: cross the road to get there. But it seems that such railway station is mainly for travelling to locations outside Bangkok. If u want to travel anywhere from the hotel, u can go by MRT, tuk tuk( with many tuk tuk waiting in front of the hotel usually), even motorbike taxis or taxi... Seven- eleven convenient stores are everywhere in Bangkok and it’s not exception to this hotel. We can buy ice to keep in water bottle for long day travelling from 7-11. My kids love Meji Milk from this store. Starbuck is also nearby. I see many foreigners stay in this hotel. The hotel has been operational since 2009. The lift is quite slow as per comments by many other reviewers but we can walk using stairs instead. If u dont like this hotel someway, the nearby hotels are Metro Hotel, Bangkok Centre Hotel...

Everything was great at The Aim Sathon. Basic clean room but bathroom sink didn’t have hot water. Good for a budget stay.

Our experience with Siam Kempinski is the best! All staff are very accomodating and polite. The location is super good, and they provide a shuttle to drop us or pick us at some of their pick up locations. Rooms are clean. All facilities I needed were provided. Food and drinks are super good. Will definitely go back to this hotel.

worth for money, near HuaLumpong Train station and MRT station. hotel has a comfy bed and private bathroom with reasonable price. good for sole and couple traveler who want a walking distance to train station. easy to go to ChanaTown and downtown.

We stayed here for 2 nights before flying to England. The place itself is very clean and modern, location is also great. At first the staff seemed very friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 6am and check in was at 2 so they let us drop our luggage off and we requested a shower after taking the overnight train. A couple had just checked out so they said we have a room available to shower. All sounded great until they wanted 100baht each and then 50baht each for a towel. At the time we needed to refresh so agreed to this however the room was very dirty, we were staying at the hotel so were confused why they wanted to charge us instead of helping us out, it also turned out to be the room we were staying in anyway. As we tried to pay by card they also said cash only so I suspect something was wrong here. There was a horrible damp smell coming from the room also.

We were given a very warm welcome by the hostess who gave us a welcome drink also. The hotel is in a very good location to visit Chinatown or if needing to go to Hua Lamphong station. The room was nice and we had water in the fridge. The bed was also comfy and we both slept well. We were allowed to store our bags on the day of departure safely behind the counter. The lady behind the desk could not have been more helpful. She gave us more water for our trip and let us sort out our bags before leaving. Thoroughly recommend for a short trip.

I had an amazing time at Moxy. The service was impeccable. Staff was friendly and always ready to help and accommodate. Room was clean, modern with sleek design. Definitely would recommend for a convenient location and comfortable stay in the heart of Bangkok. Gym could use some more equipment but you can do the basic routine. Hopefully they can add more equipment with time. I just want to mention Weena and Megan went above and beyond to help me have a more memorable stay here at Moxy by helping me fulfill a request.

La reception non è particolarmente accogliente ma poi sali nella tua stanza e scopri che nel tuo posto letto hai tutto ciò che ti serve, pensato nel più piccolo dettaglio. Vai in bagno e vedi che anche qui nulla è lasciato al caso ed è tutto estremamente pulito. Vai a farti la doccia ed anche qua tutto pensato per darti il maggior comfort e tutto è molto pulito. Quindi la struttura e la pulizia sono decisamente da 10! Il valore aggiunto però è la signora, credo sia la proprietaria che è di una gentilezza squisita. È da mesi che viaggio per il mondo e solo lei è riuscita a farmi sentire a casa ed è stata una bella sensazione! È così ospitale, gentile e premurosa senza mai essere invadente o pressante. Una bellissima persona. La zona è ottima per spostarsi perché girando l’angolo hai il pier che ti porta nella zona più turistica, a 10 minuti a piedi hai sia la stazione del treno che della metropolitana. La zona non so quanto possa essere sicura la sera perché non ho mai visto in tutta Bangkok così tanti senza tetto che non sembrano pericolosi ma non ho osato sperimentare uscendo da sola la sera. Però ti dà anche una visione più autentica di come vivono le persone a Bangkok non essendo la zona turistica!

A very good hotel for the price., The hotel is connected to the airport metro and is a very good and clean hotel After coming to the hotel, if you have to go anywhere then it is very easy because the metro is right at the gate. local restaurants, Starbucks and food shops are just outside the hotel.I think this is the cheapest and best hotel in a city like Bangkok.
