We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. the staff were amazing and the facilities are beautiful. They provided shuttle service to and from the airport as we were travelling. They have a very low parking charge as long as you have a stay on one end of your trip. The lot is a nice covered parking garage. We also had an amazing shuttle driver who even gave us a little tour of Bangor and some famous sites. Went above and beyond, We also had an opportunity to catch a few horses training. I would highly recommend this hotel. :-)

The friends we went with were particularly convenient from the airport. It was good to take a taxi directly. Then the front desk service was very warm. We stayed at so many hotels and felt that the price/performance ratio in this hotel was still very high.

This was our 20th anniversary getaway and they exceeded what I expected. Great room, excellent service, full breakfast. Worth every thing we spent. Thank you to all your staff for a memorable stay! If you're able to splurge on one of their suites, go for it, ours was the wilderness lodge and was tucked into a corner away from the other rooms. Great jacuzzi, double shower, quiet corner, worth the price! We ordered a pizza and was perfect for a night snack without leaving the room! Love the history and vintage charm throughout the hotel.

The bedroom was cute, loved the black bear theme and the companion teddy bear on the bed. Beds were comfortable. Room had a fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Desk. While there were both weddings and baseball teams staying at the hotel, I did not have a problem with noise. Bathrooms rather outdated. Small-ish. Our round shower curtain hanger was broken, so the curtain kept sliding down and opening. I did like having an extra sink outside of the bathroom. What was lacking - common areas and breakfast. Breakfast was very limited. No protein options as far as I could tell. The fresh fruit, assorted melon, was pretty good. Bread options were “meh.” The breakfast sitting area was very small and fairly crowded - not much room at all. The common area by the front desk was also small. Limited seating. Also, computer and printer right there as well. Limited privacy as those places were within feet of the front desk. Outside, they have a beautiful large yard out back, and to the sides, but no tables or chairs. The only tables and chairs were in front of the hotel as you drive up to the lobby. You’re not permitted to drink alcohol in the hotel apparently unless you’re renting space …? We were asked to leave the building with drinks? And then the next night, when respecting that, and we were sitting outside, they told us we couldn’t drink there either. Would have been nice to have a fire pit and a common area (or 3 or 4) or a usable patio - a bit removed from the main building. There is not much to do in the area, and far better to be safe at the hotel than on the road. Outdoor games would have been appreciated - volleyball, cornhole, CanJam… something like that. Anything. Especially for the price we paid. That was probably my biggest complaint. Lots of outdoor space but nothing to do/nowhere to socialize really, and very limited indoor space. Bear theme was cute. Could do some very simple budget friendly things to make it more appealing.

I simply cannot say enough positive things about this venue. The entire process from start to finish was phenomenal. The owners of the Inn are as accommodating as possible and were so sweet to work with on the day of the event. Chelsey, the wedding coordinator for the Inn is as fabulous as it gets. She is prompt, professional and has a calming presence which helps many brides. We had a unexpected thunderstorm come through 15 min before our ceremony and the whole staff worked with us just to push everything back 30 min to allow us to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. We were so incredibly impressed with their flexibility and accommodations. Our guests raved about the food, the quality of the staff and the gorgeous views this venue offers. The whole weekend was flawless from start to finish. Would get married here 10x over.
