It is not a 4-star hotel as it says, the furniture is old and worn. I don't understand why it has such a high score on booking of 8.9. Mold in the pool, old smell in the room. The food is good, not great. At breakfast I give filtered water, at dinner you have to pay for it. They have a shuttle that takes you to the ski party and brings you back to the hotel, but it would be better if the last bus came at 5:30 p.m. because the gondola is until 5 p.m. and you won't be there in time to catch it.

Sömestr tatili için ailecek 4 gün konakladık, 2+1 daire şeklinde geniş ferah sıcak temiz biraz eski odalar. Havuzu 32c sıcak dört kişilik jakuzi 3 tane bedava kullanılabilen saunası mevcut. Kahvaltılar güzel ve yeterli akşam yemekleri fiyat performans çok iyi içecekler ücretleri ama şömine başında alabilirsiniz fiyatları da ***et uygun. Gondola kayak merkezine servisleri mevcut ayrıca otel kayak kiralama konusunda indirimli prin2000 yönlendiriyor kayak takımları yeni ve iyidi. Otel çalışanları yardımsever ve ilgililer. Hotel itself is lovely. Nice rooms, easy way of getting to the Gondala (shuttle bus). Staff are helpful and attentive. The only thing I would say is its downfall is the advertisement of it being a “spa” , which is a main reason why we booked it as having that facility after a long day of skiing is lovely. However, the spa is not relaxing at all! Children let loose to run free (which I’m sure most spas are or should be adults only) making the experience stressful and undesirable. Pool area is the same as well but more understandable as that is or should be family friendly.

The hotel is very clean and quiet . Location is okay and staff is very helpful and friendly! The one bedroom apartment is super spacious and in a nice layout. It’s perfect for a family stay with kids . Few things that can be improved are that the ventilation and air flow in the lobby, rooms and common areas very low and definitely needs more air . Also breakfast should be more diverse and not same options every day. But overall the hotel is Very Good . Will probably come back next time we visit Bansko.

Joro and Gaby have created a wonderful place to stay and relax in the Bansko mountains. My family were in Bulgaria to visit family and spent several days at The Grand Royale. From the front desk staff, to the restaurant and bar staff and the spa staff, everyone was helpful, welcoming and very accommodating! If you are looking for a place to stay and relax in Bansko I would t hesitate to book a place with them. We will definitely be back

Large rooms with plenty of storage and a kitchen. A good pool, saunas and steam room. Restaurant had plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. Kids loved it. Only a 15 minute walk to the gondola station but you can take the shuttle.
