Pet-friendly Hotels in Baoting

Location: hotel is located far from Sanya, in the middle of the Forest which is good for hiking to Qixian Mountain and also that gives you a totally different experience than the rest of places near Sanya. On the other hand it is quite far and it takes some time to get here by DiDi from Yalong bay. Hiking: The hotel staff helped us arrange the transportation to the Qixian Mountain entrance (40rmb both ways/per person). The driver was extremely friendly. Then we begin our hike which is quite challenging. It takes around 4 hours for the whole trip. On the top you can climb by using chains which is cool. Hot springs: Hotel has a few hot springs which are pleasant to enjoy but quite small and also in the evening the guard took the water away from the hot spring at 7pm😅 Swimming pool: swimming pool with the palm tree is absolutely amazing and great for taking pictures. Restaurant: near lobby there is one restaurant that serves Chinese cuisine but I wouldn’t recommend it. We waited for so long for a few dishes and the staff felt so uncomfortable dealing with foreigners. The other restaurant 7/5 is much better. We had a nice lunch there. In general we enjoyed our stay here but we were a little disappointed with the hotel’s amenities which were old. Everything looks much better in the photos than in real life. I’m not sure if I would recommend this place.

The hotel architecture was very nice, made good use of tall and beautiful spaces. Being in the middle of the rainforest, it is quiet and relaxing. The food is not so good, the cooks don’t seem to understand produce very well and end up eating tough meat and and very dried fish. The breakfast zhou is not so bad though. Apart from the food, the staff wasn’t too useful with the covid policies, they didn’t facilitate or helped us to get to a covid testing place so we end up spending the entire day just for that. The place is clean, not much else to say about that. Installations are a bit old, some of the lights are flickering, woodwork needs some love. But the best part is the bathtub, very big very clear and comfortable with thermal mineral waters coming straight from the mountains. I

We wish we could have stayed another night! The pool and the view are all lovely. The inside is very clean, and most impressively we didn’t see any bugs! The furniture was comfortable and the style was nice. The kitchen was very well equipped and we would have definitely used it if we had brought some cooking ingredients with us! I would suggest that guests do some grocery shopping and bring some snacks with them as there aren’t convenience stores or supermarkets in this area. We ordered food online (options are limited), took a while to arrive since this area is not very populated, but the staff helped us to meet up with the delivery driver. Breakfast was included and the shuttle came very quickly when we called!

It is very convenient to play Yanoda, but it is still very tight for a day, and I regret not staying for two more days. The swimming pool, hot springs, fish spas are good. The rainforest restaurant has a good breakfast buffet, a la carte for dinner, and the ingredients are well cooked. Although it is slightly expensive, it is the most satisfying meal in the entire Sanya itinerary.

I had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. This hotel is nestled right in Yanoda National Park and has amazing views. The staff is so friendly. Li Bing, the general manager is very attentive and great at recommending places to see in the area. My check in representative Fang Peizhen was incredibly kind and made it very easy. My balcony room overlooked the valley and my room was spacious and clean! The bed was super luxurious! Had an amazing sleep – the stars were out and it was so quiet. The sunrise from the 7th floor is breathtaking. The hotel used to be a lot larger and so the property is expansive – I would recommend going for a walk down to the lake. Although many of the buildings are not in use (I feel Covid hit this region hard) – it’s a beautiful and peaceful walk and you won’t see another soul! The grounds are maintained so there really is a beautiful mix of flora and fauna to adore. I didn’t take a dip in the pool myself but it’s big! Breakfast was okay – a simple Chinese buffet. Although it’s a little older I think the price, the friendliness and the location more than make up for this. The night stay also includes a ticket to visit the park which is a three minute drive away – they can arrange a car to bringyou or you can just drive yourself easily.

The room was clean, the boss was very warm and patient, the yard was very big and friends could play in the yard, and also sent Wang Laoji.
