"Hainan's second stop was Qixianling, and Junlan Hotel seemed to be the most well-known in the area. It certainly didn't disappoint. The rooms are spread across small villas, with four separate units (up, down, left, right) in each, offering great privacy. Outside the window is a dense rainforest, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Each unit has its own private hot spring pool and a small balcony. The rooms are spacious, perfect for kids to run around. Unlike Atlantis, which is all about excitement, this place offers a different kind of relaxed retreat. The rooms are definitely a bit dated, but they have everything you need, and the cleaning staff is very meticulous. The restaurant food is delicious, with some specialty dishes that are a must-try! The hotel has various hot spring pools and swimming pools. If you have enough time, try them all out; they're open quite late. I want to especially commend the hotel's entire service system. From the greeters to the lobby, the restaurant, the shuttle drivers, and the pool security – everyone was incredibly warm and polite. Since the hotel is quite large, and the accommodations are spread out and deep within the rainforest, shuttle services are available throughout the hotel. You can book ahead or simply flag one down. This was a lifesaver for me, traveling with a child. I could explore freely on foot or easily catch a ride without my child complaining about walking too much. Finally, a few tips for future guests considering Junlan: don't bother bringing big and small bottles of mosquito repellent; the hotel provides it for free (though even drenched in repellent, mosquitoes won't spare any new guest! It's a special 'gift' from the tropical rainforest!). If you plan to hike in the National Forest Park from the hotel, getting a taxi might be difficult. The hotel front desk can arrange for a scenic shuttle to pick you up for 20 yuan per person, which I think is well worth it. While there are public buses outside, I couldn't figure them out and didn't want to walk to the bus stop. When traveling with a child, it's best to minimize hassle. If something can be taken care of for 20 yuan, don't try to save that little bit!"

"Traveling with my kids, choosing this hotel was a great experience! The hotel is located within the scenic area and offers a VIP parking and lounge area, along with a dedicated shuttle service. The hotel fee includes two entrance tickets to the main attractions and a night exploration activity, as well as fish spa and hot spring services. My kids had a blast, and I highly recommend it!"

"The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers. Our room was spotless. The balcony featured a private hot spring tub and a spacious terrace, offering stunning views of Qixianling Mountain. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and even provided a thoughtful complimentary afternoon tea. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, which my friend really enjoyed. We'll definitely be back for another holiday at this hotel."

"It's a beautiful new hotel, but many of the grounds are closed, there's no shop, the staff don't speak Russian or English, the restaurant only offers its menu on WeChat, the hotel caters to events rather than hotel guests, and there are no taxis, so you have to find your own transportation. Despite its newness, the cleaning was poor, the floors weren't mopped, and the water was insufficient."

"The private hot spring in the room offered more privacy and a sense of security, with beautiful views. The staff were very welcoming; they even brought candy, nuts, and fruit while we had tea in the public area – very thoughtful. The electric curtains and electric toilet in the room were very convenient. The breakfast was incredibly plentiful, generous in portion and delicious; brunch is the bare minimum of respect for a vacation trip, fantastic! I'll definitely come back next time. There was welcome fruit, the passion fruit was delicious, and they even provided tools. There's a private parking lot, which is very convenient. Don't turn on the lights if you're taking a herbal bath at night. If you want to sleep in, remember to bring earplugs (they're provided in the room), as the noise isn't from the chickens, ducks, or geese. If you're particularly prone to mosquito bites, apply mosquito repellent beforehand. My two-day stay was so comfortable; the weather was great, the sky was incredibly blue, and the rooftop pool had a fantastic view. Waking up naturally every day, having breakfast, drinking tea, swimming, hiking, and eating farm-style food was incredibly relaxing. This is what a vacation should feel like – so refreshing! I'll definitely come back next time!"
