Nice hotel for this trip, new and the layout of the hotel room is amazing. There have great rest areas for all travellers. You can watch tv or use the computer they provide and also just sit on the chair to stare blankly enjoy the stars, the weather, the natural feel of the environment.

Advantages: strategic location; reasonable bathroom layout and complete facilities; rich breakfast varieties and exquisite preparation, and a large balcony outside the restaurant. Disadvantages: The double bed made up of two single beds is not comfortable, the mattress moves when touched, and the mattress is too soft; the room is slightly small, and there is a TV hanging on the wall in the corridor, so you need to be careful when passing it.

The location is very good. It is almost walking distance from all major attractions. The transportation is very convenient. The room is clean and bright. It is cost-effective.

It was really warm and nice

Well located. Comfortable bed. The lounge with DVDs of Barcelona highlights and books on gaudi/ Picasso/ Barcelona to enjoy with a champagne in the evening were a delight. Very friendly staff. Breakfast didn’t have muesli but did have chocolate!

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Walking distance to everywhere, with a shop and pharmacy close by. Metro is 200 yards away and the area is well served with tapas and tavernas. The room is nicely appointed and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple yet delicious and buffet style so plenty of choice and lots to go round. Lovely service - I highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

The room size was just adequate. The bed was comfortable. There is an inviting lounge with a library of books on many topics with an emphasis on sites to see in Barcelona. There was a very small honour bar with beer, wine and Scotch. The breakfast buffet offered various types of food to satisfy a lot of different tastes. The staff were very friendly and supportive. The location is excellent to visit many sites which are in reasonable walking distance. I would stay there again.

Excellent central hotel for a city holiday in Barcelona. Very clean, friendly staff and a great location. Only a short taxi ride from the airport, close to the Gothic quarter and the main shopping area, La Rambla. Also within walking distance to the beach and Grande Familia if you don’t mind a steady walk (roughly 1.5 miles to the beach). We would definitely stay again.

Just come back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. Very easy to get to from the airport. Immaculately clean with lovely comfortable rooms. We had a very small balcony at the front but it was great for what we wanted. Free 24 hr coffee also a bonus. All staff friendly and knowlegeable. About 15 minute walk to La Rambla and very close to Playa Cataluna , where the buses stop and close to the metro station. Would definitely recommend

My husband and I visited Barcellona for the first time for 4 days. Hotel was excellently located 5 min from the Plaza De Catalunya and the beginning of the Rambla. The staff was lovely especially Daniel who with his friendliness put a smile on our faces every morning. Breakfast consisted of a comprehensive hot and cold buffet, nice fresh fruit and cheese, lots of little pastries and good coffee. There is a nice terrace you can sit and chill out in and enjoy a drink. We will definitely visit again

The check in was smooth and fast. They even gave us a very early check in. They also helped us with our luggages. It's beside a school but not noisy especially at night. It's a minimalist room but our room has a balcony with a view of the school and other establishments. Breakfast was good as well. Plenty of choices and clean and the ambience was nice. It's like an elegant saloon. it's buffet style and everything you need is there already. There is only 1 server, a lady and super nice. Our checkout was fast and the receptionist called us a cab to take us to the port. very efficient hotel will definitely stay here again. Location is near restaurants and the reception knows where the good restaurants are. Its walking distance to Passeig de Gracia. about 8 mins. Im with a pwd.

Best thing about this hotel is the king sized bed and unlimited coffee bar on the first floor! Unfortunately i didn’t like the black walled bathroom with yellow lights. Also for a four star hotel, it wouldn’t hurt to have bedroom slippers for the guests and maybe a vanity kit with your toiletries. I also noticed a funky smell in the room, faint but its there

Stayed 3 nights. Excellent location! Room is spacious & clean with comfortable beds. AC is centralised so just advise front desk on what is preferred temperature. Generous breakfast buffet, 24 hours free coffee and quaint outdoor patio. 2 elevators. Service was good. Exceptional service by Daniel (morning shift) who is passionate about making customers satisfied - God bless you Daniel! Will definitely go back to this hotel!

We stayed for 4 nights for my 70th birthday. Generally the hotel was OK however what we didn't know is that there is a school either side of the hotel and they were playing basketball (noisily) till 10.30pm on the night we arrived so we could use the balcony or have the patio doors open. The noise started again @ 08.00 on Friday morning. The hotel has 24hr tea & coffee facilities on the 1st floor (our room was on the 3rd floor) but also has a kettle in the room. The hotel only uses paper cups and after the 2nd day ours were ever replenished. On the 2nd day the shower tray filled with water and overflowed under the door when my wife had her shower. I had to wait quite a while to let the water flow away before I could have mine. When we were leaving that morning, we told the concierge (Daniel) who said he would get it sorted. When we came back in the evening the grating and insert had been removed from the tray (and were never put back). We had not had any towels left in our room and we had come back with barely an hour. to change & go out. We spoke to the girl on the desk and asked if it was OK to use the shower and to get us some towels. She had no information about the shower and said she would get us some towels. When she didn't come within 15 minutes with them my wife went back down Ater initially saying she couldn't leave the desk as she was the only person on, came up with towels. Checking the floor adjacent to the shower (which had a mat over it) it is obvious that the problem with the shower is not new and has never been satisfactorily sorted which is disappointing.
