Sincerely baffled by all of the positive reviews. Like most of you reading these reviews, We scour the internet to ensure the hotel will be a good fit for my travels. The overwhelming number of positive reviews for this hotel led me to believe we would have a positive experience; but our reality was very different. First; the room was filthy ( this can be very subjective) - which I understand can just ge due to staffing issues etc. and the hotel should not be judged based on this alone. We did let the hotel know our room was pretty dirty and they offered to move us to a complimentary suite on the 14th floor; after being shown the new room; we ultimately declined and ended up checking out after one night as we really did not like our room at all (more on that below). Broken door latches, dirty sheets, dusty lamps, cruddy baseboards and the vanity shelf over the toilet in the bathroom to store your things was just a bit much for us. In our experience, this is one of those hotels where the front lobby is incredibly beautiful, modern, and updated.. however the rooms show signs of some major aging and are in need of a desperate update. We experienced two rooms within the hotel and both were in need of a major update (their suites included). The room photos we see online we felt like were major glamour shots of the actual rooms. Beds: bed preferences vary, so what may be comfortable for me, may not work for another person. Objectively speaking, beds had zero padding to them whatsoever and all bed springs could be felt. Every time we sat down, the bed made a weird noise. It’s worth noting, the beds are also on casters, which aren’t the sturdiest things (assuming this is to be able to move from 2 twins into a king type of room relatively quickly). Bed was the same “hardness” in the upgraded suite as well. Noise: We initially stayed on the 5th floor with a view of the sagrada familia. The hotel is right above a park and we could hear every conversation, cough, spit up and dog bark below us. Furthermore, we could hear all of our neighbors conversations in the rooms next door(s), people coming and going etc. We sincerely found the soundproofing to be completely non existent. When we previewed the room on the 14th floor, we found the noise to be present as well. Location: As far as the proximity to the sagrada familia, this hotel can’t be beat. The hotel offers rooms with views of the sagrada familia as well. Higher floors will obviously have better views; but the room we initially paid for was on the 5th floor and though we could see the Sagrada Familia, it wasn’t exactly what we pictured or thought we paid for. The hotel does appear to be in a more commercial part of town; so we did not feel like it had a charming neighborhood feel at all. Outside of the Sagrada familia, this hotel isn’t very close to other tourist locations so you will be using metro/Uber quite a bit. The metro is within 5-10 minutes walking distance; which we really loved.

The hotel is quite clean and convenient, there are elevators too. And we like the receptionists the most. They have a smiley face every-time when we passed by, and are keen to solve our enquiries or problems. The only thing is the blankets are dusty so they makes me and my friend have nose and skin allergies (but only a bit).
Overall, we like this hotel very much.

It was a very clean accommodation and plenty of towels were provided.
It was a little inconvenient because laundry was done in a shared facility on the 5th floor, and I was a little disappointed that they assigned me a room with a rear view without even asking how many rooms had a view of the Sagrada. There is a rest area and a pool on the rooftop, so it would be nice when the weather is nice. The location is far from major tourist attractions, so it's a bit inconvenient to take the subway every day, so if I had to do it again, I think I'd pick it near Plaza Catalunya.

Our family of three-bedroom two-bedroom suites has a double bed and two single beds, which are slightly smaller. The kitchen facilities are too complete, there are two pans, two soup pots, all kinds of knife and fork shovel, the cups and cups of coffee cups are complete, it is suitable for one week to cook for themselves, we are tired one day and do not want to go out to eat, It’s great to buy semi-finished pizza, stew, seafood, and salad from the supercon downstairs! It is within a five minute walk to the Sagrada Familia and St. Paul Hospital! You can also walk to Park Guell, about 30 minutes! From the airport to the hotel, you can take R2 from T2, then turn to line5 to Sagrada Familia. The subway will be settled 10 times, and R2 does not need to purchase tickets separately! It's very cheap, we did it when we went to the airport! When I came by, I took a taxi with my child for so long, and it seemed to be 33 Euros!

Hotel location is very close to the Sagrada Familia, very close to the breakfast, but the bakery next to the hotel is a lot of 52 years old, the price is not expensive, you can taste the local taste. The ice cream shop and the famous dessert shop in Spain are also important for large and small supermarkets to eat. It is very convenient to see the hotel hotel apartment capsule coffee machine capsule coffee only 4 tea bags 4 (booking 4 people room 4 nights) The room has a balcony but the balcony looks out and the messy house can't see the scenery room. No other napkins are provided. Other equipment is still very good. You can buy the supermarket stuff and come back to the microwave oven to make it super easy to use 2 bathrooms. Super convenient 2 bedrooms. The two single beds in the big bed are the hotel we chose. It is convenient to travel nearby. There are other subways. The location is the highlight. The Sagrada Familia can be seen at any time.

Our stay at Hostemplo apartments was the perfect choice for our long awaited trip to Barcelona. The location with a view of the Sagrada Familia, was perfect. The apartment was very well appointed with all of the amenities you could need. The breakfast was delicious, including fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff was very accommodating and quick to respond to any needs. Would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is less than a five-minute walk from Sagrada Familia and many restaurants are also in the area. It is very convenient as it is close to a Metro stop. We rode the Metro from the airport to Boutique Hostemplo, This is not a chain hotel, but has its own unique character located on a narrow street. Our room was super clean and had its own balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. We chose to eat breakfast there. It was a good breakfast, a good value, and a great way to save time. If we ever go back to Barcelona, we will choose to stay at Boutique Hostemplo again,

If you are staying in Barcelona, you will only stay here. Just opening the window will bring you into the history of Barcelona. The view from the rooftop is also outstanding. The subway, supermarket and market are just a short walk away, so it's a perfect score of 200 for those who want to feel Barcelona while living their daily lives. It's fun to get along with locals and neighbors. I'm planning to stay in Paris and Barcelona next year, but I just pray for the end of the coronavirus.

Mechaber’s were thrilled with our recent stay from check-in to check out. We stayed in a 2/2 that was so spacious and perfectly appointed. The design features were wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. Great beds, great, blackout blinds, wonderful amenities and a lovely welcome breakfast basket that we received because we booked directly online. The location was perfect- close to Sagrada Familia and very quiet, not busy and noisy at night but so easy to get everywhere with a metro stop right across the street. Many many cafés and restaurants also very close walking distance. They thought of everything we might need. we arrived early and were able to leave our luggage in a very convenient storage and enjoy an entire day. Additionally, upon check out the team was able to Have a cab ready and he arrived early. The staff was wonderful and welcoming and very knowledgeable and we had an overall wonderful stay and are excited to be staying at the Eric Vokel Madrid suites next.

GGuest UserThis hotel's location let you touch all of Barce's atraction with supermarket, shops, laundry and restaurant nearby. Great staffs, very kind, friendly and helpful. My room was spacious with a street view. Just one thing is that the pillows are too high(thick) for my girlfried. Overall a great stay, Definitly recommend and would come there again.

GGuest UserA super normal hostel for good or bad. I came a little scared, because it's a little left-hand floor. There's a long corridor with rooms for all loirs. My simple peccated, but to sleep only I used it. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.
