Hotel Aneto

El Raval
I had an extremely pleasant stay at Hotel Aneto. The room was fantastic, with a fridge, air conditioning, a great TV and a very comfortable bed. There was plenty of storage space and plugs for charging. The ceilings were very high which made the room feel enormous. The location was just about perfect. It's around the corner from La Rambla and just down the street from Plaça de Catalunya which are the heart of Barcelona. It's also extremely convenient for getting the airport bus which stops in the Plaza. The staff were all great, extremely friendly and talkative both in English and Spanish. The complimentary breakfast from the cafe next door was one of the best I've had from a hotel. The coffee wasn't instant or from a machine as is the case in many hotels, it was real barista coffee. The croissant and sandwich were clearly freshly-made. Only downsides were having to leave my key at reception everytime I left. However, in fairness, the staff usually remembered you and had the key ready for you immediately, so not a big deal, just different. My room sadly had a view of a small courtyard below. Not much they can do with the location, but would have been nice to have a room with a view, of course! Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hotel Aneto and hope to make a return visit.

The hotel is located on a sideways of the Rambla, reachable in two minutes walk, while the metro is 5 minutes walk. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable in the centre, at the move, at the shops, at the transportation, but at the same time away from noise. The hotel is a very good hotel and is very comfortable and comfortable.

It costs money to store luggage for the first time! Going early or after CHECKOUT, you have to deposit 2 Euros for your luggage to use the hotel lockers. This is very uncomfortable. Even if the 2 Euros are included in the room rate, it is better than this disgusting practice! The rooms are small and everything else is ok. Although the soundproofing is not good, fortunately the guests on the first floor are relatively quiet. It takes only five minutes to walk to the subway station. The nearby supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants are very convenient. The facilities are relatively old, the shower is broken, and the faucet is not so good.

Just returned from a 3day/2night trip with my 17yo daughter. Fantastic hotel - peaceful and calm as soon as you enter, great welcome from the gentleman on reception (and the other staff throughout our stay were very nice too). Lovely room - clean, stylish and with everything we needed - a/c, powerful shower, room safe, fridge, tv, charging points ….- and a little patio as well. The breakfast was great - selection of cold meats/cheese/boiled eggs, pastries, scrambled egg/bacon/sausages, rolls, toast, cereal, juices, yoghurts, oranges, tomatoes … plus the usual varieties of coffee and teas. We booked direct with the hotel as they offered a discount which was better than hotel websites, and chose the breakfast option which offered great value. My daughter is vegetarian (I’m not) and we both found the breakfast suited us well. On our last day we were able to leave our luggage in safe storage. Would definitely want to stay here if and when we visit Barcelona again. Great location, great staff (front desk and breakfast room), clean and stylish. Thank you 😊

Arrived back in Barcelona from 12 day cruise on board the MSC Magnifica and had an overnight stay in this three star hotel just off Las Ramblas so it’s very central Must say I was pleasantly surprised how inexpensive it was as we are talking about a very central location for this city The hotel itself was clean and staff very helpful ,the rooms clean tidy if a downside they were a bit stark and clinical but comfortable and bathroom was lovely Breakfast was also included in the price and was plentiful and warm This hotel has a rooftop pool but alas never got chance to use it but was lucky enough to have a room with a balcony and hope to stay there again when I once again visit this beautiful city

This hotel was located just off of Ramblas and a popular market. It was clean and had a helpful staff. Rooms were nice, but I found the bed to be uncomfortable, while my friend's bed was fine. I recommend this hotel; especially for its location. There was a very basic coffee and pastry breakfast for 4 euros. We were close to a bakery which was also nice. Taxi comes right to door to pick you up.
