The location of the hotel is very good. The corner is opposite the main commercial street in the center of Barcelona. The building facade and the public lobby on the ground floor are decorated in a modern atmosphere. Breakfast is very rich, this is the best I have had in the same grade abroad, and the waiter attitude is good, the front desk waiter attitude is also good. The room is considered to be a bit larger. The only room that is not perfect is a little stuffy, and the price is a bit high. Overall the location and breakfast were great.

Five of us rented a big house. Very satisfied, so beautiful! Clean, and the location is particularly good. Convenient everywhere! ! Each bedroom is very large, and the toilet supplies in the bathroom are also very useful. And when I left, I forgot very important items. The clerk helped me keep it and called! thank you very much! ! Next to the downstairs is a pharmacy, opposite the bustling street, it is very convenient for shopping and shopping. I have stayed many times. If I have friends to go, I will definitely recommend it. The location of the hotel is very good. It is very close to La Pedrera, Casa Batllo and Plaza Catalunya. The Hotel has a wonderful staff. They are very friendly and polite. The location is more than perfect. The hotel is located 5-7 away of the central part of the city. Plenty of restaurants choices . Very clean place with a modern design. We've been there to celebrate our son's 3rd birthday and the management has been prepare for. They had organised the room with a lot of balloons and small presents for him. Very kind of them. The breakfast was included and it was with a multiple choices. Excellent customer service... So - Highly recommended place of any one aspect!

When first booking our trip to Barcelona, it was a little overwhelming the amount of properties one could choose from. After a bit of review and consideration we decided on the Hotel Olivia Balmes. We were most interested in finding a hotel that was centrally located, emphasized comfort and cleanliness, & had in room central air conditioning (given our late summer travel). The hotel hit top marks in all. We also used the pool and ate breakfast which were both excellent. I would not hesitate to book a stay here. The front desk staff were also very kind and available 24 hours a day.

Calling it a swimming pool is a lie, feel ripped off. When you select a hotel with a swimming pool, the prices went up by £300-400 for our stay, so a hefty increase, but they didn't have one. It was 1 foot deep, that's not a pool, if you can't swim in it then it's a glorified puddle. Breakfast was vile, only edible part was the croissants, which seems pricey for £9 per day. Bed was relatively cosy, but on wheels and made so much noise any time either of us moved in the slightest. There was a buzzing sound that went off from the fan every 5 seconds, not too bad during the day, but when you're trying to sleep then it was a nightmare. The staff were friendly at reception, the bright spark that kept us from going elsewhere as we were really tempted. Wouldn't book again.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel: I stayed here 17 years ago in my first visit to Barcelona although I could not remember much of my experience then. I decided to stay at the Hotel Royal Ramblas in my second visit to Barcelona for 5 nights in September 2022 because of its good location. I must say its location on La Rambla is excellent and exceptional. It is close to many popular tourist attractions, it's just a few minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya metro station, and bus stops at Plaza Catalunya for the hop on hop off buses. Port Veil and the beach are within walking distance. The room we got on the Planta Royal (just one floor above the breakfast restaurant) was comfortable and clean. Although the room is facing La rambla it is extremely quiet during the night. The wifi was fast, the shower was great and the aircon was so quiet and effective. The breakfast was excelent throughout our stay and the staff at the reception were very helpful and freindly. I will definitely recommend this hotel for visitors to Barcelona. One complaint I would like to make is that for a four star hotel, there isn't any tissue paper in the room. I have to buy one box of tissue papers from Carrefour nearby. But in my opinion Hotel Royal Ramblas is an excellent hotel and I would stay there agin in my next visit.

Visitamos el hotel por un día lo mínimo que se pide es una cama limpia y en condiciones. Tuvimos que pedir una sabana en recepción porque mi madre tuvo una reacción alérgica . I am a solo female traveler, came to stay in this hostel for 4 nights. This was my first experience staying in a hostel and it went definitely amazing thanks to Factory Hostel and it’s amazing stuff. Everyone working here is so friendly, they always smile and help you in the best possible way (Special thanks to Maria Laura). All receptionists are fluent in Spanish and English. They all have been truly lovely. They do cleaning everyday, they serve delicious cake and coffee around 2 EUR. People that stay here is also nice and friendly, you can have good friendships if you would like to. Beds and pillows are pretty comfortable, curtains give you a little privacy which is nice, they give you considerably big cabinet to lock your belongings, air conditioning working 7/24, they have a cute kitchen and lounge areas to enjoy the stay. It is very close to Park Güell, a little far from beach and center but there is always public transportation that you can use, takes about 30-45 mins to go wherever you want (including walking to stops). I would %100 recommend and if I ever come back to Barcelona would definitely stay here again!

The showers was not cleaned when we arrived but all other days they where nice and clean. Could be good to bring some flip flops. Nice refridgerator. I didn’t use the kitchen to cook. They just had a sponge to clean your dishes with which was kind of groose, I would have wanted a regular dishbrush. The walls is thin so you hear your neighbours much, earplugs was a must for me. This was the most negative about the hostel for me. But The staff helped to say to other guests if they where to loud. Nice and comfortable beds. Nice with big lockers/storage in your room. Really kind and helpful staff. Nice rooftoop to sit and eat your breakfast. It is a local tax you have to pay when you check im, 20 euros for me and my friend for 4 nights. Good location. Close to several supermarkets, restaurants, bars, metro and bus stops and we also walked from the hostel to some sightseeing things to save some money. Easy to get to the airport.

I had the pleasure of staying here for just one night with a friend and it was a really nice stay. The room had a lovely view, comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. It all looks like it was newly renovated - all fresh all around. Sincerely lovely and helpful staff in both reception, bar and breakfast. The breakfast was really really nice. Nice layout, live cooking station, seating area both inside and outside and had everything you would want. The hotel has a super location with just a short walk to major sights. It was close to the metro and I was able to see Sagrada Familia every day. There are a lot of people passing by, so it is safe to walk at night. The cafe nearby was also open at 7 o'clock, so I didn't have any trouble finding dinner or going to the supermarket. Unfortunately, there was a wet towel inside the blanket in the room...it was disgusting. When I told the staff, they handed me a new blanket and said, ``I'll check with the cleaning staff.'' The blanket was also scratchy and untidy and didn't feel good to the touch. I would like to give it a high rating because the location, room, and staff can speak English, but the cleaning and blankets were disappointing!

Okay, so we don't often go through the effort of leaving reviews, but just had to on this one. From the moment we booked our stay, they immediately opened a line of communication and were extremely helpful both before and during our stay. When we got to registration, we were met with a very friendly staff member who got us through the paperwork and held our luggage until the room was ready (we arrived too early). When we got to the apartment, we were very happy with the cleanliness throughout, the location, and the amenities. We cooked most of our meals and had ample supplies to do so. AND...when we asked if they had a pitcher to mix some juice, they were quick to volunteer to go buy one. By the time we returned that evening, we had a pitcher waiting for us. Honestly, if we ever visit Barcelona again, we won't hesitate to just stay with them again. Just a terrific experience.
