Barcelona Sant Marti 4-star Hotels

Nice location, very clean. Nice and helpful staff. Would have appreciated to know the number of reception in the room (without having to exit and physically ask). Another would be to have an information book/pamphlet to indicate all that is possible in the hotel. THESE ARE JUST IDEAS. I loved the cleanliness and the friendly staff and ofcourse the location!

The room is quite new, clean but the smell is a bit strong, the bath is very comfortable, there is an electric kettle to boil water, tea cups and tea bags. There are no slippers to wash things, towels and bath towels are fine. The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the subway station and the seaside, very convenient. The sound insulation is a bit poor, especially the entrance is very noisy in the morning, the most important thing is that the wifi is very poor, it is almost unusable, this is unbearable. Originally, the customer service said that the extra bed should be paid when you can leave, but the foreigner refused to say that all guests have to pay first, and there is no quilt for the extra bed! Fortunately, the weather is okay, no quilt? Very speechless!

The hotel is centrally located, minutes walk from Passeig de Gracia, in close proximity of the main shopping belt and restaurants. Hotel is reasonably new and rooms are decent size and nicely renovated. However, I have two MAJOR issues: 1. I was sleepless 4 out of 5 nights because of mosquitoes in the room. I have kept the windows closed and can only assume that the cleaners might have opened the windows. 2. I keep having an issue with the key card, having to go back to the reception EVERY time I wanted to open the door. I have kept the card separate from my phone and credit cards.

We stayed in this hotel for one night prior to returning home. It was the third hotel that we stayed in during our trip to Spain. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The area was great with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. My only suggestions for improvements would be to have more than one english television channel. It was our last night and we were tired out so we would have liked to watch something besides BBC news. There was also quite a wait for an elevator.

I visited as part of a hen party and we stayed for 3 nights. We were spread around the hotel which was not an issue. Rooms were a mix of two bed and three bed. Rooms were good sized with comfortable beds. Location was good and we were able to get to our choice of venues easily by either booking a taxi or flagging one down. We were a bit disappointed that reception staff were unable to help with booking taxis but it was easy enough to do ourselves. One negative was that there was a bag of rubbish in my room when I arrived. It was obviously from the emptying of the bins and the cleaner had forgotten to take it out but it contained food and was on the sofa so not good to be met with. I did not eat in this hotel. There are eating places and shops nearby and vending machines in the foyer for that late night snack. I would stay in this hotel again.

👍🏻 Location close to the beach, several buses to attractions, close to Rambla Poblenou, where all the local restaurants are 👍🏻 Friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast with very good quality Iberian ham. 👍🏿The roof is equipped with a swimming pool, with a 360-degree invincible view 👎 No tea and coffee welcome tray in the room, no kettle, no glass, but there is a small fridge, the breakfast room is sad, the station should be better presented. Overall very satisfied, quiet, with heating in winter and air conditioning in summer. Off-season prices are unbeatable!

The hotel is a little far from the metro but still accessible by taxi or bus. During the spring the rooftop was a bit too chilly for us and the pool is not heated. It’s also very small and extremely shallow so it’s more of a wading pool. Nice view of the sea and okay service.

Excellent 2 day stay at Best 4 Barcelona. Great service, good value and great breakfasts. Thank you. Only thing - the shower floors are very, very slippery and dangerous - needs attention. I visited with my sister for a short break to celebrate my birthday Pros - The check in process was smooth and professional. - The room was clean and comfortable. Towels changed and bed made daily - The spa was excellent with everything you’d expect and more including Jacuzzi’s, steam room, sauna and the best relaxation room containing heated stone beds! (Not sure exactly what they’re called) Cons - We stayed half board and the food was simply not good. The usual cooked breakfast items were on offer, but the eggs were cold, the bacon fatty and in my opinion, inedible. Dinner was the same set menu for the 3 days we were there. The first night we had duck (pictured) which was a small leg and tiny portion of potato dauphinois, no veg. The second night my sister ordered the chicken curry and wild rice. Her chicken was still pink and the sauce tasted like it came out of a jar; no curry flavour detected. I had ordered grilled chicken and seasoned potato wedges. The chicken was over cooked and unseasoned as if someone had just put it under the grill and left it. The waiter did offer her an alternative , but we were not willing to risk it. There was no evidence that a chef or even an average cook had been anywhere near any of the meals we were offered. We decided to eat out on the third night. - The biggest con was the fact that the hotel was very near to a night club which meant no sleep for us until the partying stopped at around 4.30am! Obviously, this would not be a problem for those visiting Barcelona in order to party, but for us it meant an otherwise great holiday ended with us feeling the need for another break to sleep!

Avoid this hotel, This hotel has lot of problems specially for geust that are planning to stay longer than 3 dyas. Please read it till the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First of all the problems started before whe arrived with this hotel. Whe booked suite with an early checkin and sended an email with the question from wich time whe can checkin while whe booked an early checkin. Whe got an email back from manuela wich she didnt chekced my booking at all even i sended their my booking nr. She reply’s that early checkin is upon availability. After sending a mail back she says sorry about the misunderstanding because i have already booked the early checking, she just didnt checked my personal details before sending a email back. The next few days i sended a email again about taxi’s etc….and mosts email wont get answered. The days whe arrived in our suite. Huge leaking in the shower. Molt is growing on the wet carpet. Whe have reported this at least 4/5 times and only 2 times they taken action, ask this to the housekeepers and even they told me that they reported it many times. Whe are just suprised that they told us that the hotel staff isnt listen to them!. They just ingnore it in most cases. Guesst are not always able to use the swimming pool while you payed for the hotel as a guest becasue companies have to constantly rent the pool so that guests can't use it, especially in the evenings. We also noticed that noise from the roof daily. almost every day there is a party going on on the roof with music which is no problem at all, only the music is on so loud that you can hear it in the rooms. almost every day there is a party going on on the roof. very bad for the people who want to get up early the next morning or have to go to work so that their sleep is disturbed by this. Keycards in the lift/elevator are not workin gprperly. When you insert the card to go up it wont work. It turns out lot of guests having this issue. I contact the front office in regards to the lunch for 21 september because whe needed to check out at 07:00 and wont make it with the breakfast so asked them what their options are. as if it couldn’t be whorse. 1 male young employee who says on the front office at 19 september at 06:30- in the morning ”oooh no problem” i need to check with reservation departement you are a premium member , booked via our website, I can arrange for you to give you a refund for that day and having a take away breakfast isnt worth the money (in a verry rude and innoproriate way), seriously ? this is the way how you talk to your hotel guest ? the take away isnt worht it ??, asked for a confirmation email , he promised me to contact the reservation department and promise contact me to contact me at the end of the day but as expected nothing heard. End of the day i contacted the front office again and ofcourse i spoken to manueala, manuela told me its not possible to get a rufund wich is totally fine but how she know that ? without contacting reservation depa
