The hotel looks nice with the swimming pool and we went during carnival so it was super loud 24/7 and couldn’t sleep as the windows are not isolated properly. Nevertheless besides this, the hotel was full and they didn’t have enough staff at all to cover all duties so breakfast was poorly served, food was bland and didn’t taste of much, selection of food was no great as the first day there was yogurt but not the other days, and so on. Also, the curtain in the shower is really uncomfortable. I expected more considering it is a 4-star hotel and I paid a lot for it. There was one particular staff at the reception who was super rude at the check-in letting my partner look like a liar when asked about the room being ready at the time he was advised (before the official time). When he asked she said in front of her supervisor that she didn’t tell him that the room would be ready before 3 pm, although she did.

A very good and convenient location with unstandingly friendly and helpful staff. The room, however, is just what you need as even toilet paper has to be asked for at the reception. I’d say you get what you pay for.
