Barry Island

Check in very quick and Premier Inn staff in hotel excellent as always. Room very comfortable as was the bed. We always stay in Premier Inn and the hotel itself lived up to it's normal standard. It was a bit far out from Cardiff Airport through housing estates, only about 3 miles but there are other hotels closer. The parking was excellent and the car park big enough for everyone. The bar/restaurant were just average, staff seemed to disappear when you wanted to be served. The evening meal was enjoyable once you were able to order. The actual bar area was very cold. I was a bit disappointed that the breakfast was not buffet, as other Premier Inns we have stayed at, and you had to order - I was on the full breakfast and my husband on continental, and he had finished his about twenty minutes before mine arrived. I wouldn't stay at this Premier Inn again, but only because of the location and the restaurant and bar.

We love staying at this Premier Inn, the staff are nice and welcoming, any issues and they are usually resolved quite quickly, always a big thank you to Lewis and Kieran although they are working they always make time for my deaf 3 year old daughter.

Excellent location for exploring Barry. Nice hotel and restaurant warm and welcoming and will definitely be back

My 3 children and I had a great night staying here for the first time. We used it as a base to extend a visit and we had a good fun. Staff were friendly, helpful, patient and approachable. The breakfast is good value for money and the room had everything we needed. There was no noise and we all slept well in our family room.

I have to use this premier inn because of its location yet its air conditioning is dire, lots of others complaining, sealed wondows require air con, this hotel has too hot air con & turns off at night, management shrug and say iys what it is. I would advise against anyone staying if temp is abouve 16 degrees,you cannot get a decent sleep because of heat, hotel is neat, tidy, beds good but this last 5 yrs nothing has sorted poor air con

Good staff, attentive, friendly and helpful Limiter options available for some breakfast items Next door Brewers Fayre for food and meals . But excellent coffeehouse, cafe and restaurants near by Good location to explore and visit Gavin and Stacey country

Very comfortable bed. Clean room and excellent location. All staff members in the hotel and adjoining restaurant were friendly and very helpful. Only intended to stay for one night but booked a second as the hotel was so good

Really nice Premier Inn. Located withveasy access to Cardiff Airport. Very clean and comfortable room. I thought I had booked an accessible room as my husband has mobility problems and need a walk in shower. The lady on reception was helpful and friendly and kindly moved us to an accessible.

The hotel was very easy to find and was in the perfect location for everything. The train station,Barry town and other places were in good walking distance. Bonus as well there is an Asda literally over the road. Staff were amazing and helpful. The lad at the front desk was very friendly (didn’t get his name), he’d always smile and say hello whenever we’d be in reception. The room cleanliness was amazing, nothing worried me.
