"The room was surprisingly spacious, likely due to its secluded location. The front desk even personally escorted me to my room after check-in! However, the mattress was too soft, I just sank right into it. The nearby coast has some beautiful rock formations."

"I've stayed at this Travelodge three times over the past couple of years. I've always been totally happy with the stays..the staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and polite. Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable, with basic amenites, which are perfectly ok for a few days stay. Parking facilites are perfect, in the hotel grounds. A Toby's Carvery is right next door. Only a 5 minute drive to Cardiff Airport/Car Hire facilites. Considering that this is a 3 star hotel it's good value for money and it ticks all the boxes for me. Highly recommended, particularly for couples or business travellers."

Goodstay Lodges by Urban Space ★★

"A great area of lodges, bars, food places and coffee! 5min walk from Asda and 20mins to the beach and amusement park. Stayed during the heatwave so the place was extremely warm and only a tiny fan which wasn’t much use. Very much out of control of the owners but consider if you know it’s going to be hot when you go. Kitchen had everything you need for cooking (no oven, but has a stove top and a microwave) and utensils. The shelf with crockery was dusty (and therefore the top most dishes and plates). The outdoor space could have been swept before we arrived. A cosy little place and in cooler weather would have been very comfortable for 2 people."

"Great room decent size friendly staff. Only down side to it the bed was hard and the pillows were thin. Hot water was hit and miss in the shower one day you will have some the next you don't. The heating didn't work in the room but got a heater from reception. Overall a pleasant stay and would stay there again."
