Location in a lovely garden setting was perfect and parking out front of the hotel was easy and convenient. Very quiet at night.
Room (Superior King) was large, well set out and had lots of windows. Bed was extremely comfortable. Only negative was that a queen sized doona was on the king bed, which left it a bit on the small side. Bedding and pillows were all excellent of good quality. Staff were friendly,although when we asked for the doona to be replaced with a larger one, we were told upon returning to the hotel later that it had been done. It had not.
The main downside of this well-kept and attractive hotel is that there is no food or bar facilities, although they provide links to nearby cafes and other eateries. About 10 to 15 minutes walk takes you to to the main restaurant area of Manuka.

We recently stayed for a wedding held in the outdoor gardens. The rooms were dark and dingy. The lights took a few minutes to fully brighten but it was still not enough to light up the room. The toilet room are definitely old, toilet seat cover kept falling off, there was a gushing sound in the vents that never stopped (not the AC). It was an unpleasant stay. It was definitely convenient for the wedding, we could rest in our rooms before heading to the reception at a nearby hotel, walking distance. The best part though was the gym. open 5:30am to 11pm. Best gym facilities I've ever used, definitely worth checking out. If you stay at another Hotel in the Doma family of hotels you can use it for free. But I would rather stay at another hotel next time.

Great stay apart from parents not controlling their kids in the corridor making heaps of noise when coming back late in the evening. Don’t blame the kids, but blame the parents not teaching their children correctly.

Loved having access to Hale Gym as a guest of the hotel. Room itself is very dated but was comfortable and clean. No room service or onsite kitchen is pretty odd for any hotel today.

Bathroom in need of renovation Comfortable bed ,Cheap bathroom amenities and bathroom towels were old .
No luxury no hooks to hang stuff
Tap fell off in my hand in shower
No money being put back into the place
Cold and dark feeling in hallways
Guest lounge coffee machine didn’t work not a comfortable place to hang out .
Staff on reception were smily amd welcoming .
