Francis Hotel Bath

Parking on site made me feel relaxed and not have to worry about it. Location was central, a short walk to all the attractions. Breakfast was too expensive for our tastes, but there were plenty of places nearby to have full English breakfast, or a croissant and coffee. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

First impression was front desk staff! So kind & helpful! Room was well appointed & the provided toiletries were luxurious. Wait staff went out of their way making sure your food order was correct. Dinner meal was delicious! Breakfast buffet choices amazing!

This was a same day/late booking, as the original accommodation for this stay had been double booked, which I only found out 20 mins before leaving home. I was happy to book the hotel as I had previously visited to attend an afternoon "Perfume Experience", so I did have an idea of what to expect. For this visit I was attending the "Perfume Experience" as part of a very special friend's 50th birthday present which als included overnight stay. Having had the stress & diappointment of dealing the alternative accommodation's double booking, I can honestly say that we were both more than happy to have stayed with you. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely welcoming and couldn't have done more for us, weren’t able to check in as we were too ealy, however we were able to leave our overnight bags at reception and after explaining the stress of the accommodation fiasco, we were given a voucher for a free bottle of prosecco to help the birthday celebrations. When we did actually check in, we were informed our bags had already been put in our room. The room as well as the rest of the hotel were extremely clean and provide us with all that we needed for our stay. The complimentary teas, hot chocolate, milk and biscuits were greatly appreciated. Although, I had booked on a "room only" basis we paid for breakfast, which we took full advantage of - there was a good choice of cereals, fruit, drinks, bread, pastries and of course cooked items, which were still hot at 9.45am

I traveled to Bath for three nights after dropping my daughter off in Bristol for a semester abroad. I considered several hotels, before choosing the Francis, despite its rather bland facade. It is a really solid property with a young staff who was eager to please. My room was very comfortable decorated in cheery English country style and colors. The bathroom was spacious, very clean and modern. I did not eat at the restaurant or go to the bar. It was a good choice not only because the accommodations were comfortable, but because it was within walking distance to just about everything, including some very good restaurants. The staff was happy to make recommendations and reservations and was most helpful in arranging my times at the baths and arranging an Uber back to London.

Beautiful room, fabulous helpful staff Great location. Parking ( on site) is very useful, bath is very difficult to park Food is excellent Every member of staff was friendly and helpful, free mini bar a nice touch Good value for a well kept clean hotel

The room was amazing , well appointed & a great view of Queens Square. The soaps & lotions provided for guests use were very pleasurable o use. The position of the hotel was perfect to explore all of the interesting sights of Bath. The checkin staff were very helpful all throughout the stay. The breakfast was great, with extensive choice & presented beautifully.

We had a lovely room at the top with a view over the rooftops. The hotel is in a good location in the centre but not too noisy. The room was decorated well and it was nice to have water and fresh milk for my tea provided. The only downside was the price of the breakfast which we did not have. All the staff were very helpful.
