Friendly reception staff and smooth process of checking in. Room was spacious and had a good view. Walkable distance to town centre. Breakfast spread was great as well! Would return in the future!

The location is good, though a little bit far away from BATH Spa Railway station if you are walking. If the weather is good and sunny, it is OK to enjoy the scenes.

5 minutes walk to the center. The room was clean and spacious. I stayed in the Chinese room right in front of the stairs on the first floor... The room was big and nice, but I could hear all the noise outside. I didn't pay much attention to the parking lot view, but the silhouette of the shower and toilet can be seen from the parking lot. I was too lazy to move rooms, so I asked for a big towel to cover the window. I think this part needs to be improved. Also, there is a £10 parking fee... I wish they didn't charge it in the off season.

We booked three rooms for this trip. The actual layout and facilities of the rooms are old and not as beautiful as the pictures. They belong to the family hotel type. But this is not the worst. The worst is the arrogant service attitude and the inhumane handling of problems. The check-out time set by the hotel is unusual. We must leave before 10:30 am. Due to the delay of our trip, we arrived at the hotel at more than 12 o'clock in the morning of the next day. We were unable to get up early. After breakfast and packing our luggage, we checked out at the front desk at 11:10. We were required to pay an overtime fee of 60 pounds for the 40-minute overtime. The front desk staff completely ignored our communication requests and were very indifferent throughout the whole process. There was only one sentence: This is a regulation and must be paid. As a service industry, do you regard yourself as a law and regulation? The customer-oriented service concept is gone. I have stayed in all the hotels in China and abroad for business trips, and none of them is so unreasonable and harsh. Most of the service staff have a ** face and ignore it. Only the breakfast chef, a Filipino lady, is polite and kind, and the service is thoughtful. In short, if you don't want to spend money to suffer, it is strongly recommended to avoid this hotel. After all, Bath, as a tourist city, has many hotels to choose from

Just returned from a weekend in Bath. The guesthouse was just as expect, clean, lovely decor, staff friendly and attentive. We stayed in the Abbey room which seems to have been updated as the decor is no longer red (as pictured on the website) but a lovely green. Views of the garden and the bowls green next door. Breakfast was lovely we had the traditional breakfast and some pastries from the continental. All in all, a lovely stay and I would book again.
