I first booked an apartment on ***********, but when I checked in, I found it was completely uncleaned and uninhabitable. I couldn't reach the host, and customer service couldn't resolve the issue, so I quickly booked a hotel on Trip.com instead. Upon checking into this hotel, I noticed the bathroom sink was very dirty. I reported it to the front desk, and they said there were no other rooms available, so the staff member brought a towel and wiped the sink clean. However, I later discovered the sink was clogged and wouldn't drain, making it unusable. Trip.com's customer service is much better than Booking.com's; at least they are reachable and actively try to help resolve problems.

The hotel lobby and breakfast were both very nice. However, we experienced some issues with our room. The double bed was quite small, and the room we were initially assigned did not match the photos shown when booking. When we raised our concerns, the staff did their best to accommodate us, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the process took quite a long time and involved multiple room changes. The final room we were assigned was much better and met our expectations. Had we been given that room from the beginning, our overall experience would have been significantly more positive. It seemed that some rooms have been renovated and are much newer, while others are older and less reflective of the images advertised online.

This hotel boasts an excellent location right by Putney Bridge, making it super convenient to get around. There's a Waitrose supermarket next door and plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is quite new, with a clean and minimalist decor – not luxurious, but very comfortable. I'd give full marks to the service in the ground floor restaurant; the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and accommodating, and the food was plentiful and delicious. My only slight complaint is that the shower stall was a bit narrow. Even for someone who isn't particularly big, turning around felt quite awkward; I'd estimate it's only about 60-70 cm wide. Everything else was perfect, though! I had a wonderful three days here.
