Its meant to be a luxury-ish short weekend getaways before my job starts as my partner can't take a long leave.
The delux double room is a huge disappointmemt.Understably, it is a very premium location and other guest probably pay a lot more. However, I wouldn't think of paying over £300 to get a room feeling like a old day servant's room. Being placed at the roof extension room with the view mostly blocked, the floor makes the typical old wooden cracking noise as we walk. The curtain, carpet and bathroom are not in the best condition. The glass on top of the table and desk are not well fitted.
Another thing is that, without any previous notice, the spa closed foe maintenance the morning we leave. The fake plants make it look less luxury than its branded.
The plus side, it is kind of inclusive which the spa pool, gym and breakfast are included. The breakfast is quite nice if you like English breakfast or they have some basic buffet.

The royal crescent hotel is absolutely beautiful. We had a spa day and evening meal at the royal crescent and I loved it. The hotel itself is so beautiful and the spa facilities are amazing. We received the fluffy robes and slippers and had a lovely time in the spa. The evening meal in the restaurant was simply superb. I enjoyed a beautiful salmon starter that had the wow factor in presentation, with such precision and attention to detail and venison main. It was an interesting combination of flavours but it really works. The restaurant staff were amazing and so friendly, Susanna was so lovely, friendly and chatty and her service was flawless. She made an excellent wine suggestion and was so helpful in looking after us while we were there. Amazing food and friendly staff in a beautiful setting, would definitely recommend.

We had a bit of trepidation on arriving at this wonderful hotel, given the scaffolding enveloping the frontal fascade. But we soon realized that it would have zero impact on our stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and extremely helpful, going so far as to book our reservations at the fantastic Sea Scallop restaurant on Monmouth street. I would also be remiss if I didn't give a shout-out to the Royal Crescent hotel front desk staff. They are the best of the best!

The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa is a discreet luxury hotel located in one of the most beautiful streets in Bath. The hotel garden in particular was an undiscovered gem. The room was very comfortable and provided all that we could ask for, although wardrobe space was a little tight. The staff were without exception super friendly and helpful throughout and the restaurant food was sublime. I would in particular rate the level of attention that was given to staying with a baby (which I will admit was unexpected in a boutique hotel!) - there was a lovely cotbed in the room, but the hotel went above and beyond by also providing a changing cushion, baby bath, a playmat and toys. Very lovely touches which made us feel very welcome and comfortable as a family.

The Spa Had a wonderful half day at The Royal Crescent and Spa. Samantha, the therapist, did an amazing massage. One of my best ever. The food was incredible, especially the Bath Buns. The Spa facilities we had to ourselves. Attentive staff. Although you have to pay for a concierge to park your car, it made us feel very posh. Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to go again.

I will be honest, I did not stay at RCH but merely worked there for over 2 years. I felt it important to publish a crucial fact, the online advertisement about how wonderful it is to work at RCH features only ONE member of staff who currently still works there!........ Totally overpriced + extremely poorly managed by multiple 3rd parties as actual owner is far from a hotelier!
