The hotel itself is stunning and perfectly located as it is private but only 10-15 minutes from Bath City Centre. The grounds are fantastic but unfortunately the other reviews are true in the sense the Spa needs a renovation as I find it likely the pool tiles have been the same since reopening in 2007 and you can see it. Nevertheless if You can get a deal it is worth it!

This is definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel is dirty and the rooms have nothing to do with the pictures. On the first day of my stay, the toilet paper towels were empty and the shower gel was empty. The toilet was still blocked. The bathtub was broken. It was not removed. There was a hole in the shoes and quilt. The guest room phone and the front desk phone were always connected but no one answered. ok I thought it was nothing. The hair dryer was still broken after washing my hair the next day. Did I call again? Someone picked me up. Fortunately, there was a guest room at the door that was cleaning up other rooms, so I asked them to change it for me. It was still broken when I opened it. Haha. You don’t have to come here to soak in the hot spring. It’s just a small swimming pool. It’s better to go back to your country and soak in it.
