Think twice if you have a large suitcase and are on the upper floors. The lounge is nice with a real fire. Breakfast was nice too. Friendly hotel. 👍

Lovely place, stylish little room, has everything needed in it.

The hotel is good. The living room is OK except for the smell of old house air when entering the room. The furniture is old but it feels good. The breakfast selection is quite rich.

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, the front desk service attitude is good, the room is clean and tidy but the facilities are a bit old. The overall feeling is that the price/performance ratio is quite high, suitable for traveling and living alone

Excellent stay for my wife and I. Friendly warm welcome. Great breakfast with choices including eggs Benedict. I went ‘Royal’ with spinach and smoked salmon. Speaking of royalty, we got an upgrade to a KING room on the top floor which was spacious and comfortable. Easy short walk into town. 10 mins walk to Thermae Spa.

Brooks Guest House provided a knowledgable and accommodating staff, a scrumptious breakfast, a clean room and a comfortable bed, an ideal location, a historic building - everything we'd imagined in a perfect old-school British BnB. We also loved the funky sitting room and the classy self-serve bar.

We stay there in May and we had a lovely stay, delicious breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable clean room and excellent location. Car park is nearby and city center not even 10 minutes walk. Ideal place to stay in Bath. We definitely will be back on our next trip. Thank you

Lovely guesthouse, just a few areas that needed improvement. Curtain rail and bathroom paint could be better, otherwise lovely? Bed was super comfy. The price was fantastic as well. Lots extremely close and breakfast place around the corner is lovely. Would recommend for a good stay in Bath.

Lovely stay, in a perfect location. however little touch ups needed. Paint in the bathroom was splitting in areas and curtains coming off the pole. Nice room apart from that and the price was very fair. Worth 5 stars for this. There are great restaurants nearby and a lovely breakfast around the corner at the The Green Bird Cafe.

From first contact via phone to arrival to leaving the customer care was excellent. Reception told us of all amenities and parking and, as my wife is a Blue Badge holder, informed us of availability just around the corner. On arrival, we were checked into a ground floor room, just off of a lovely sun-filled lounge. The room was decorated lovely and the 4-poster bed very comfortable (and very large!), the desk had a good assortment of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and some handmade biscuits by the chef (yummy). Shower was lovely, clean, the water hot and the toiletries provided were a very good quality. The breakfast choices have something for everyone, including specials on the boards, and the quality of the ingredients are outstanding. The cooked breakfast is the best we have had in Bath, with all the produce local sourced. The ‘honesty’ bar is well stocked and very reasonably priced. All places of interest are within walking distance from here, approximately 7-8min to the centre. We will be staying again.

Brooks exceeded our expectations, room was a great size and beautifully decorated. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, we arrived early hoping to leave our bags but the room was ready so we were allowed to be checked in. It is in a central location close to the main sites. Parking in Bath is difficult but Brooks is close to a paid parking area, whilst it is expensive it is convenient or you can do park and ride for a cheaper option

We had the most wonderful welcome at Brooks guest house. I stayed with my elderly mother who uses a walking aid. When we arrived the receptionist was so friendly and nice and immediately offered to change the twin room we had booked as it was on the second floor. She was also very helpful with information and gave us a map. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. The breakfast was good quality and cooked to order. The guest house is within walking distance of everywhere and I would highly recommend.
