Edgar Townhouse

A small group of old friends met for our annual gettogether and to celebrate two BIG birthdays. I had been unable to get into my first two choices so it was with some apprehension that I booked into Edgar Townhouse. What a lucky break! From the moment I contacted Debbee, to arrange our three rooms, until we left yesterday afternoon, every aspect of our stay was exceptional:- From the warm welcome, with a birthday present, to the lovely rooms, the freshly cooked breakfast, with an amazing choice of dishes, to the ice bucket for the champagne and above all the impeccable hosting by both Debbee and Theo, all made for a perfect weekend. If only other places could offer this level of exemplary service. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We will be back!

We were on the top floor and that involved lots of stairs. But that’s the last negative you’ll hear from me. Debbie is a treasure! She welcomed us in and booked us a table at Joya, an Italian steakhouse just up the road, which was about as far as we wanted to go on our first day. Today (Sunday), when I went on a tour to Stonehenge, she MADE me take an apple and gave me a wrapped croissant for the trip. So when I got to Stonehenge, I bought a soda and a water and I was set!! I’ll remember Edgar Townhouse for my next trip for sure.

The outside is a stunning bath townhouse. Five minutes walk out of the city centre. Perfect location for exploring. Entering the townhouse the staff are extremely welcoming. The room we had was clean, and perfect for a couple of nights. The bed was super comfy. En-suite spotlessly clean. Breakfast was awesome. Really good choice and very tasty. I cannot recommend this place highly enough enough.

What was not to like?! Everything just fine!

Stayed one night at this lovely hotel in Bath. Debbie the host was amazing. So helpful and caring. Room was comfortable and en-suite shower room modern. Decor throughout hotel tasteful and in keeping with the style. Breakfast was more than ample and delicious. Hotel is 15 mins walk from Station and 10 mins to Roman Baths. Lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend hotel will definitely return.

really enjoyed are 3 night stay, the staff were all wonderful and the hotel lovely clean and warm, the room was a little on the small size but every thing you needed, breakfast was 1st class , only 5 min walk in to town and 10 min to station .would recommend

My daughter and I stayed overnight at this fabulous B and B. The location is brilliant and less than 10 minutes walk to the station, the bed was so comfortable and we slept really well, the breakfast was awesome. The jewel in the crown is Debee who cannot do enough for you - she was attentive and always looking to find ways to make your stay as good as possible. If we come back to Bath - we will definitely be back!

So grateful to Debbee and the team. My elderly mother was exhausted from travelling and needed a room to rest up for a few hours during the day. Debbee was kind and sympathetic and instantly able to find a comfortable room for mum and make her a cup of tea. We were both hugely grateful and will recommend the Edgar Townhouse to others. Rooms are lovely 🤩
