The service is very good, the environment is comfortable and the scenery is pleasant, and the food is good. The only drawback is that the wooden floor is a bit noisy. If people upstairs move around, it will affect the rest of the people downstairs.

The suite we booked was upgraded to a family suite. It's a very British country hotel. I didn't expect its restaurant to be awarded three stars by Rossete. No wonder the breakfast is better than the Savoy Hotel in London. We had dinner once and it was surprisingly good, and the bread was unique. The hotel's garden is also a natural English-style garden, with a little messy feel that took a lot of effort to create. In addition, the cookies delivered every day are so delicious that they become my thoughts every day.

We enjoyed our stay here and liked the location, as it was an easy walk into Bath but it wasn't in the middle of a crowded area. We had a superior room and it was very nice. On the small side, but it was fine. Any staff that we encountered were very helpful and friendly, especially Kitty who help me several times with my booking. It was a bit on the expensive side for what you get, but I would stay there again

Stunning Hotel, very comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms and team are on hand to help with any request. Spa is on the small side but nicely done. Breakfast was delicious!

This is not a 5 star hotel. 3.5 at a push, The gardens are not as good tendered as they should be and as advertised. The “spa” looks like the pool with steam and a sauna in a a cheap gym. Smelly steam room which in addition was very dirty at 730am ( opening times) which leads to believe it had never been cleaned from the day before, pool area had dirty windows and floors and had a general feel of a cheap gym. Do not expect luxury spa feeling. The website pictures and descriptions are misleading. The restaurant is not worth the money. Stains on the carpet and furnishings. The hotel looks like it has seen better days and no one now are bothered to care … it’s a shame and a waste as the property has so much potential. Some of the staff was good though, not all ….

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay. Not only were we upgraded by two levels with our room but also given complimentary chocolates and biscuits. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and extremely tasty. The spa was good, the steam room smelt a bit and wasn’t streamy enough but the sauna was hot and the pool was quiet and clean. Liz who did my massage was incredible! Huge thanks to the very professional staff especially the Spanish receptionist!!!

The warmth of the greeting we received on arrival was quite unusual compared to what we are used to getting from many high end hotels we have stayed in. We were shown where everything was in the hotel. Our room was very comfortable indeed. We spent a short amount of time in the spa and that was fine. Breakfast was impeccable! Great service and one of the best cooked breakfasts we have ever had. Top notch service all around at this hotel!
