Lovely stay in the family room (2 adults, 2 children). Comfortable, spacious and well equipped room. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast and dinner in the pub was delicious.
Friendly and helpful staff made it a very pleasant stay. We would happily stay again.

Great placement within bath, amazing friendly staff great beers and food! Accommodation was excellent, very modern and tasteful, comfortable beds and great shower! The manager David was incredibly helpful and was a font of local knowledge. Thank you!

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The room was well stocked with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. There was a good range of breakfast options on the menu and our server, Claire was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and at home. Location was great, only 20 Minute walk into Bath city centre and a bus stop right outside.

We had a great stay. Friendly staff, outstanding food, great accommodation everything you need in the bedroom, on site parking & a 10-15 minute walk into the town centre. I would definitely recommend staying here & I would return

The Bear in was a comfortable relaxing place to stay. The buses into town were frequent. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Food was OK, we went for the 2 course special, sharing a starter and dessert. With both having the burger. Dessert and starter turned up together, when clearing up starter plate, was asked if there was anything else we wanted, no just our burgers. One burger turned up and when we said we ordered 2 we had to wait for it to arrive. When paying, the bill did not include the 2 course discount and included service charge. Staying for another night in bath but won't be going back.

What a lovely pub checked in with a lovely lady can’t remember her name she said she was new here but she was so friendly and very helpful all staff we met over the 3 days were lovely and friendly ! We didn’t have any other food apart from breakfast and we couldn’t fault a thing food was delicious and very quick service The rooms are lovely and clean would highly recommend this pub 👍 Its a great location if you want to be just out of town and considering we are above a busy pub on a Saturday night we couldn’t hear a thing was wonderful stay thank you

A nice pub, a bit loud if sport is on tv. Great a**osphere though and nice food. We stayed over, the room was nice and large, just a bit of damp in the corridor but otherwise good. Large tv in the room and lots of little touches and treats that make a difference.
