酒店期望值遠遠達不到心理預期，完全比不上馬來西亞同等價位的新酒店。打grab到門口有箱子門衞乾瞪眼，辦入住前台不熟悉業務想額外收10馬幣，房間裝修稍顯老舊，拖鞋質量差，海景很一般，海水是黑色的，讓送兩瓶礦泉水半天沒人來。最無語的是吃早餐排隊二十多分鐘！這家酒店的設施景色服務完全支撐不了這麼高的溢價。亮點是早餐種類較多，味道還行。

Stayed for 2 nights and had wonderful breakfast there. It would be more wow if we could have different breakfast menu the next day. It was rainy days when we were in Penang. We found umbrella in the room and saved the day! Overall experience at Park Royal is great and I would definitely come back

A great hotel, you can walk directly to the beach. You can ride the waves and ride horses on the beach. However, you have to negotiate the price first, otherwise the price will be raised. The children were so happy in the swimming pool that they didn't even want to get up. The staff nearby would watch over them carefully. If they felt that my daughter was tired from swimming, they would come and tell me.

This is an old hotel but the room has been refurbished. First of all, talking about parking, it’s an outdoor parking and it’s first come first serve basis. The staff at the front lobby are friendly and the front counter staff also helpful.
The room is spacious with comfy bed and all the basic amenities. Just that I would expect a more powerful hairdryer can be provided.
Breakfast spread was good and the view is good if you are seated outdoor.

The cold water outlet at the bathroom counter is too small. There is only one line after the toilet is flushed. Everything else is satisfactory. There are quite a lot of diners during peak hours in the morning, so you have to wait for about 10 minutes.
