Booking with TRIP.COM is super easy peasy, there is no hidden charge. Room was as expected, worthy with the price. All facilities provided functioned well. The only concern with my booking was the type of room. I picked room with twin bed, but then I got one queen bed and the hotel did not let me know during check in. Anyway it was not a big issue since I came with my family and only for one night stay.

Stayed as a big family in this penthouse on the top floor. The views are breathtaking facing the sea and also had a terrace with bath tub. The building shows of its age maybe needs a few upgrades. But for the price you can’t complain.

Our family are really enjoyed at Doubletree, their hospitality is amazing and the amenities are all Crabtree brand, good product! Not forget to mentioned their heartfelt warm cookies upon check in! The only things to nag was the beach is way too far for the elderly! Thanks for the free upgrade and the birthday free decoration with cake, my mother in law was happy !

Good and nice hotel. Very spacious and comfortable. Although it is short of manpower, you can see they are still doing their best to serve customers. Children love this hotel very much because it's easy to go to the beach, and they also have a private playground water pool. Overall, it's good. It's worth booking this hotel, especially when Trip.com is having a promotion.

Check in process was quite smooth. Arrived at around 1pm but was told rooms were not ready. Managed to get the rooms at around 2.30pm after having lunch. Rooms and in-room fixtures were very old, damaged and scratched in many places, and could be cleaner. Bathtub was cracked and chipped in places, and there was a lingering odour. There were visible stains on the sofa and tears on bedsheets, with sand on the side tables. Pillows were still firm/fluffy so that’s a positive. Resort facilities are great for young children, with multiple swimming pools and water slides. Small lounge area for infants/toddlers is great too, but is unfortunately not kept clean. The no food/drink rule is not enforced, and we saw a kid spill coffee in the play area. There were mosquitos as well. Food at the garden cafe is mediocre at best. The lunch bento set serving size is small. Breakfast buffet had a decent selection of Asian food, with basic pastries/bread options.
