Great location near the old town and was greeted well by the staff and offered map and even shown us to our room and explain the room in detail which is a first for us.

Great location, good beds, bad sofa bed, little warm, clean. Great breakfast, good bar. Good staff. Let us check in early at 1230pm. Right next to several restaurants, bakery, fromagerie and other. Good size room, reasonably quiet at night.

This was an amazing hotel with great and friendly staff that spoke English well. The location was great. The rooms were especially spacious. The bar area was cozy.

Very nice hotel with great location in Bayeux Center. Great staff, welcoming and more than helpful in all regards. Nice breakfast buffet, and comfortable bar area, with a real, operational fireplace. Would recommend and would stay again.

The staff was very rude and disrespectful, and there was little to no parking, but the rooms themselves were great. Because of the staff I’d avoid it all together.

The staff was friendly and courteous. The property was very well maintained. Room was spacious and clean. I would recommend this as must stay at hotel when in bateaux.

Such a shame we only stayed for one night - lovely room, big bright bathroom, friendly staff - very special. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the region. I can highly recommend Le Lion d’Or.

The location, service and rooms are wonderful and the food in their restaurant is outstanding. We loved the romantic package (rose petals & chocolates) and having parking available on site was appreciated (reserve ahead of time). Very friendly, quiet and comfortable hotel. We hope to return.
