The Liverpool Arms Hotel

I stayed here on my second night of a tour around the island of Anglesey. The room was clean and well-stocked with linens and toiletries. My room was on the top floor of the building, and like many older buildings it has low ceilings especially on the stairs. Although they have 'Mind Your Head' signs at the bottom of the stairs, I still managed to knock my head hard twice on the way up. Be aware also that rooms facing the street may get a rude awakening in the early morning hours when sanitation trucks come barrelling down--especially if you leave your windows open, it can sound like a bomb going off! The only thing I would suggest to the owners is to remodel or reorient the rooms so that there are plugs near the head of the bed. I had to end up sleeping head-to-foot in order to use my fan and CPAP machine.

We had a great 1 night stay. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Very accommodating of us bringing a young toddler. Perfect, central location. Parking included, which was brilliant. Room 7 very spacious, large comfortable bed, clean and airy. No noise at all from the other rooms or pub/ restaurant. Though it’s on the road side we had a slight view of the sea, which was a nice surprise. Room had everything we needed. We booked directly so substantial cooked breakfast was included. Served by Joanne and Sarah, who were both lovely. Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic meal at the Liverpool Arms in Beaumaris. All four meals were excellent and the service was good. One of the best places to eat in North Wales. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. If you are ever in Beaumaris, check this place out.

Chose this pub for a New Year’s Eve meal while staying in Beaumaris. Really lovely atmosphere and surroundings. Great choice of food. I had cannelloni my husband had lamb. Both meals were delicious. Couldn’t manage a desert but they looked lovely too. Wish we lived closer to visit again sooner.

So very sorry to learn the Liverpool Arms pub is closing down, it is by far the best pub in Menai Bridge, always polite staff, cosy pub, good food in a lovely setting. Loved by locals, supported by locals, using local produce. A very sad day for all.

We went for my birthday lunch. Serice excellent. I had a very pretty caesar salad, very artistic and tasty. My husband had a steak pie which he said was ecellent. Daughter, I think, had a small quiche, whatever she had it was very good.

Excellent choice of food which is of very good quality. Situated at the beginning of Beaumaris's High St- you can park across the road turning right into the promenade road or further along in the main car parks if its busy. Well worth the walk to get to it & plenty of room in the historic building to sit & have the meal. Staff excellent.

Stayed here for two nights as was doing aSupercar event in Anglesey. Room was very nice , warm,clean & the Queen size bed was very comfortable. Hosts where very friendly & quickly sorted one very minor issue we had , had lunch & dinner in the restaurant, excellent quality & competitive prices, highly rated , we would definitely stay here again

Had a meal here for a family birthday. Service was, as in all the places in Beaumaris, friendly and efficient. Food was good - lots to choose from and all the usual suspects on the menu so pretty standard pub fare. We had a beef dish off the specials, gammon, curry and a lamb shank dish. All hot and well presented. As it seems to be a restaurant in a pub setting, with no pub part, it had the more formal atmosphere of a restaurant than the relaxed feel of a pub which I would have preferred. Having said that it was busy, so they are doing something right.
