The hotel is really great if you’re traveling to Beijing during fall or winter. The heating system in rooms is perfect for cooler seasons. I wouldn’t call it a 5 star hotel but it’s worth the price. It’s about 20 minutes by car/ 50 minutes by subway away from the Palace Museum. Will definitely book again.

The hotel is nice and clean, nothing fancy, but it has a good price and it's in the best location of Beijing, there are many metro lines available. Line 2, line 5, and the airport Express is very close. The hotel is inside a Hutong, you walk between alleyways and it's a nice experience. There are also many restaurant options. The hotel has breakfast served at 7am and it's fairly decent, only the dinning area is so small. The bathroom is small and it has glass doors, in our case we were 3 friends traveling, so this was a bit uncomfortable. Over all I do recommend this hotel for its great location.

Here is my adventure: ⚠️Please do not stay in Wuyue Room (Chanjuan Room, the toilet and shower in this room leak) and Qiyue Room (Qingying Room, inconsistent with the picture, there is no bathtub, and this room is in the darkest place, it is extremely cold) Let’s talk about sunshine first. Their rooms are divided into the first floor and the semi-underground patio. For example, the Qingying room I booked is in the semi-underground and has basically no sunlight. The Chanjuan room is on the first floor and can have very warm sunlight. The difference between upstairs and downstairs is seven degrees. It’s 24 degrees upstairs and 18 degrees downstairs. Let’s talk about facilities. Their rooms all have the most popular design nowadays. The bathroom has a sunken water-blocking design, but the construction and design are not on the same level. We made a reservation one night in advance. The little terrace was a wonderful place to enjoy the morning sun, even tho the view wasn't the best. Front desk what helpful, in English, when we were dealing with a slightly difficult situation.
