Ten minutes walk away from Gongti, the rooms facing north can still see Gongti, so it is a more economical and affordable place to stay if you come to Beijing as a foreigner to watch football in Gongti.

Received the recommendation from a friend and we were definitely not dissatisfied. Chose to stay two nights for our wedding anniversary and it was absolutely worth it. Great service, great food, beautiful decoration and amazing location. They have a table filled with candy for you to take from any time you want - do I need to say more? The room had a massage chair and a couple of cool extra tech things like a plastic pistol that turns off the lamp next to your bed.. Staff were super friendly, helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Tip - get the room with a balcony - it’s fantastic. Thanks Eclat for a great stay. Hope to visit again soon!

The location of the hotel is very convenient because is close to city center and shopping malls. The problem is that during the buffet breakfast it was very messy, some tables that were free they were not cleaned yet, and people were wasting the food everywhere. Kids were left unattended and they were spilling food. Maybe the people working should have paid more attention to these things. Especially when is holiday like it was on our case ( Dragon Boat Festival holiday). Everything else was good!

We booked this hotel for our friend’s bachelorette party. The location is right in the heart of Sanlitun, so you really can’t get a much better spot! 🤩 Only three of us slept in the room due to regulations, but the other 5 girls were able to check in as guests just for the party, and all went smoothly! The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and the staff was very accommodating. We had a bit of confusion with the details of our booking, and a manager named Athena helped us sort everything out so smoothly. She made us feel welcomed, calm, and made our stay super comfortable. Fresh fruit was sent up to our room, and they accommodated us with extra champagne glasses.🥂 CHAO is such a luxurious hotel, and Athena was especially helpful and made our stay perfect. Thank you, Athena, and thank you CHAO! 💕

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Room cleaning done daily to a high level. A few cons: - Very confusing location with another hotel with the exact same name about 20m away with a more obvious entrance. - the room smelt very badly of cigarette smoke especially in the bathroom - construction is happening 24/7 leading to difficult and interrupted sleep - room has lots of tech-based amenities which are difficult for non Chinese speakers to navigates (eg. Tablet to use lights and blinds)

Everytime recently for check in, the staff is very slow and inexperienced. Management needs to train them better. They don't understand the new visa rules, and it takes a long time to connect to WiFi. This is an international hotel, they need to fix this. I'm very satisfied. It's very close to Tiananmen. It only takes ten minutes to get there by taxi. The room is large and well-equipped with everything, including a microwave, hair dryer, induction cooker, and washing machine. Although they are not in use, they are all very comfortable. The heating is fully turned on for the whole night. It was very warm, and the clothes were all dry the next morning after washing. It was a very pleasant trip.
