It was a perfect stay. The small courtyard was built on the foot of the Great Wall. The next day we went to climb the Wild Great Wall. There is a separate parking lot. The entire yard is a traditional old Beijing courtyard layout. Once you enter the yard, you are attracted by the landscape in the middle. The walk-in atrium has white geese*stones with bluestone brick steps, and there is an artistic fish pond in the middle, which the children of friends like very much 😊. The east and west wing rooms are entertainment rooms and restaurants, which are decorated with artistic atmosphere. The entertainment room has KTV and lifting mahjong tables. The five rooms are also very distinctive. Each room has a different style. I chose one that I like. The main point is that the landlord of the bathroom is too careful. The smart toilet is also equipped with a disposable cushion. The toiletries are all Japanese brands and are very easy to use. Actually there is a disposable bath ball, a careful landlord. What surprised us the most was that there was a backyard behind the house, with children’s entertainment facilities, and 2 peacocks. At night, we had a barbecue and drink beer on the backyard barbecue grill. It was very pleasant. The small courtyard in the evening is very cozy. From the white stairs on both sides of the east and west rooms to the roof, the air is fresh and comfortable. Sitting in the hanging chair upstairs and playing games in a daze is the mountain. This is the original mood of life. Life should be like this, one house, one courtyard, one mountain, one river, one family.

Beijing Fushichun Folk Inn

Seeing that there are more comments, more praise, only chose Fu Shichun B&B, and it really lived up to many praises. First of all, it is clean and hygienic. The bedding is clean and tidy. It is known when you use it. The cleanliness and use of the fresh ones are very different. There is no smell, and the pulp is very clean. Originally I brought my own sheets, but it was useless; the indoor environment, very farmyard characteristics, a sun room outside the room, very special, leisure tea is very comfortable; The floor walls are very clean. Although the bathroom facilities are simple, there are some. After all, is it a farmyard? It can't be so high-end, and the floor drain sewer has no anti-flavor. When I came, I read the comments and said that the farm food was very level. I wanted to have a full meal, but then I heard from the owner that my legs were twisted and I could make some simple ones. But after I came, I made green onion cakes and fennel stuffing buns. It was delicious and aftertasteful. The porridge was also very fragrant. Next time I have the opportunity to taste the cooking craftsmanship. The farmyard is very quiet in the east of the village. I remember that it is close to the Niangniang Temple, but recently because of the epidemic, the Yaowang Temple, the Temple of Cai, Yang Linggong Temple, etc. have not been opened. Some regrets. Fortunately, the North City Gate can go up to visit, on the top you can follow the steps to visit the relics of the ancient Great Wall, it is a worthwhile trip, there is a river in front of the door, planted with reeds and lotus, recently rain less water inside. Going north is the Great Wall of Panlong Mountain. Although it is hot, it is cooler in the morning and evening. The ticket is 37 yuan. The tickets for Beijing, Tianjin and Shanghai Park can be used without limit. Finally, I have to say that the host service is very good, not only the surface attitude is good, but also the main thing is not afraid of trouble, and the care is very careful and thoughtful. For example, we are willing to experience the barbecue. The host specially prepares the charcoal basin, carbon, seasoning, barbecue sauce, etc. When we finished barbecue in the yard, the floor tiles in the yard were splashed everywhere, the owner had no unpleasantness, water flushing, mop dragging, time-consuming and laborious cleaning, and no extra words. All in all, the ancient town of the millennium, if the small attractions in the village are opened after the epidemic, it is still worth staying for a few days.

Our stay was wonderful. We went during the week and the overall experience was perfect. The location is quiet and tucked under a small hill with direct view to the great wall which is amazing. The room is super spacious and minimally decorated while totally functional, plus it features a scented steamer to give it a spa feel. The hot spring in the room is golden (best after a day of hiking and walking). The hotel décor isn’t brand new, so there may be some small marks on the wall, for example, behind the mirror or by one door (speaking more about hosts who don’t take care of the facilitates than the hotel management itself). That said, everything is quite clean, and tidy, comfortable and warm. There may be one or two chilled bugs (tree bug or a small bee) visiting your room…it is the mountains after all. But they are harmless and if you cannot or prefer not to deal with them, the reception is happy to help you. The service is excellent, plus they were so kind to gift us a warm white mushroom soup (sweet warm delicious drink/dessert-y local delicacy) to warm us up the first night. And the next day when I asked what it was, they were kind enough to offer another cup 😊 Their coffees are excellent! They have a small bar offering simple cocktails and a fridge selling other soft or alcoholic drinks like soda, juice, beer and wine (simple). The hotel set meals are honest and simple, not home-style or farm to table but rather “continental”. However, they are super flexible and accommodating with options and somewhat late orders which is very appreciated on trips when you are not 100% sure you will make it in time for dinner, etc. They did have a local driver and offered a one-free trip from or back to the train station or another place around the area. He’s quite nice. However, if you are on a tight budget, better check with other drivers for your paid trips and compare with the hotel one to make sure you get the best value for $. Recommend 100% yes! Foreign and Chinese customers we all seemed quite happy. Do they speak English? I am not sure sorry. But Trip.com staff are very helpful in cross-communication and the ladies are young so they might!

# praise# Regarding toiletry products, close to restaurants, safe and satisfied; the small courtyard is in the village, the traffic is slightly far away, but quiet and pleasant, next to the mountains and forests, the overall design has both rural scenery and wild taste and quality style, clean and safe. The room is big enough, the facilities are complete, and the quality of toiletries is OK. There is a swimming pool (with circulating pumps, clean water quality) and swing in the yard. It is highly recommended to get three meals a day in the small courtyard, which is more cost-effective than eating outside, and there are fewer places to eat around. Hidden Valley's breakfast is no less than the quality of the hotel. The dinner has a menu. I ordered it two hours in advance. The owner's family is responsible for buying it. Every dish is really delicious. Everyone said that they were not hungry. Fortunately, I ordered a few more dishes, and finally there was almost no left. The next morning, the boss made breakfast and greeted us to eat. It was really fresh to eat. The boss family will also tell us what is fun about Gubei Water Town and Simatai Great Wall. On the day of departure, we reminded us that there is a temple fair around, you can go and see, but pay attention to the traffic and don't catch up with traffic jams. The whole village is quiet, and there is an entrance and exit at the temple fair to avoid traffic jams, which is great. Give the boss's family a warm and thoughtful praise, and look forward to coming again.

This hotel is only 5 minutes away from the entrance to the Great Wall. We did an 11km hike by walking along the wall in a north easterly direction, then looping round halfway through (find the loop on Maps.me). Barely anyone else on the wall! Very comfortable beds and a nice breakfast for 20 yuan pp.

The room was very clean, and the boss also provided breakfast, which was very welcoming. The place is easy to find. There is a rocking chair in the yard. The baby likes to play and is very happy. There are mountains outside the window. The scenery is beautiful. I am very satisfied.

The location of the homestay is very good, and it is very convenient to go to various places in the ancient town. The boss and his wife have a very good attitude. The room is suitable in size, the mattress is not very comfortable, the toilet in the bathroom is a bit shaking, the shower head of the water heater is a bit leaking, and the overall facilities are slightly old. After all, the price is not high. Temporary stay for one night is good value for money.

The landlord’s service is enthusiastic, the house is clean and tidy, and the home-cooked food is good. There is a Xiaohe at the door, and he has fished a lot of fish, and the window of the room can overlook the Great Wall of Crouching Tiger Mountain. The landlord also drove us to the Chaohe River to fish for fish. There was also a basketball court at the door, where I played with the boys in the village. The only thing I hope to increase is that the bathroom should have a bath liquid. Affordable and worth coming again.

During the eleventh period, the two families went to Gubei to play together and set this yard in advance. The kitchen and Tongpu large projection screen are all highlights. The kitchen utensils are very complete, and the seasonings are basically provided. The children are very happy to watch cartoons on the Chase shop.
