Excellent location for getting up to wild parts of the Great Wall. A nice family run the place and provide everything you need. Basic but decent.

Great location in a quite village for exploring the wild sections of the Great Wall such as the Sky ladder and Beijing knot on the first day. Food was fantastic and offered lots of choice for our vegetarian diet. Hot water required a little wait and the room was quite chilly but it was a cold night!

The family room with a view is a plastic steel room built behind the roof. If you are over 175cm tall, don’t choose this room. You will be unable to lift your head when you enter the room.
