Ascott Raffles City Beijing Service Apartment Reviews

This Ascott is getting a little worn, but still good value for money considering the location. Feels very much like a long-term rental rather than a hotel, which is a plus in my book.

Great location in proximity to shops and just beside Raffles City. Direct access to the metro. The breakfast spread is adequate with more Chinese options. The rooms are spacious and bedding comfortable.

The facilities are very outdated and need proper repairs and maintenance, especially compare with the high price. The front desk was excellent and very helpful. The room service quality has declined a lot than last time. Some cleaners forgot to empty the rubbish bin. But overall it is a good place to stay.

The hotel isn’t very new and fresh. Rooms are ОК. Location is good. Price to quality can be better: either lower price or better service and newer rooms.

The hotel is located in Dongzhimen, and you can walk the entire central axis by bicycle. The Beijing guy in the lobby was very kind and nice. He helped us carry our luggage and took great care of us for several days in a row. The snacks sent by the hotel were delicious. It was the first time I stayed in a room with an oven. It rained heavily one day and I really didn't want to go out, so I stayed in the room for a long time. It felt like home. Although the hotel is a bit old, it can be seen that it is maintained with great care, so it doesn't feel old. The only drawback is that the window sill is leaking.

I stayed in a two-bedroom suite, which was well-planned and quiet. The hotel is very conveniently located, and it is quick to get to anywhere in the city center. Raffles is downstairs, so it is also convenient to eat. The service was very good, from the security guard at the door to the front desk staff, they were all very enthusiastic and responded immediately to any needs. The facilities were also good, the playroom was not big but there were a lot of toys, and the children liked it very much. The swimming pool was also spacious and not crowded. Overall, I still recommend it and will come back to stay next time.

This hotel is perfect for long-term stay! I went on a date with my boyfriend on Valentine's Day and cooked together. The hotel has its own tableware, kitchenware, and equipment. The service is also very considerate! They also helped us decorate the room. It was really great!

I will stay here every time I come to Beijing. The location is very convenient and the service staff is warm and polite. It is worth recommending.

I haven't been to Beijing for more than 5 years. There are several places I want to visit, but I still chose <Ascott>. I remember staying there in 2011, and twice since then, both times leaving me with good memories. I stayed there again, and it was still the same: the room was upgraded, and drinks and snacks were given as gifts; it was one stop to the Capital Airport, Volkswagen downstairs, and Guijie Street not far away... Unfortunately, I was a bit rushed this time, so I'll stay there longer next time.
