The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful!!!! Gym room is well equipped. Parking available, definitely a good choice for travellers who are driving. Overall the hotel is too new that you can tell the things are not well prepared. The location is not close to anything, it takes over 15 minutes walk to train station. Many renovations nearby. Room is not very clean, quite dusty.

The location of the hotel is very inconvenient. If you are taking a train in Europe, it would be better. You can take tram No. 18 or 19 from the Central Railway Station to the hotel. However, there are no eating places or shopping malls near the hotel. You can only It is convenient to take the tram to the city center, but the station is right in front of the hotel. However, since the hotel has just been completed, many of the facilities are not perfect. As a Marriott brand, I hope it can be improved.

It's very good. The front desk service is professional and friendly. It's really good. However, there is a little noise due to renovations nearby. There is not much shopping near the hotel, but overall it is very good and highly recommended. very good

We chose the newer marriott over the older property as the rooms and the lounge had great reviews. Because the hotel was full due to some Business conferences, we couldn’t get an upgrade and honestly the first room we got was very depressing. Thankfully Nody understood my issues and moved us to a different room. However the AC there was not working so he had to change our room again. Positive - Nody didn’t mind at all. Negative - we had to drag luggage to 3 different rooms after being on flights for more than 16 hours. Another teething issue was that M club coffee machines had no milk when we arrived. But again Nody ensured that it was fixed immediately Once these issues were ironed out, the stay was great. As platinum usually we get to choose if we eat in restaurant or lounge. But here it was mandatory for us to use only lounge for breakfast. However the spread and quality was very good. So we didn’t feel that we missed out on anything. Infact there was sparkling wine in breakfast also :) Evening happy hours were great. Great selection of wines and beers. Nice appetisers and desserts. Great service. We enjoyed talking to Stanley & Kalindi. The fitness centre was very basic in our opinion. Some cardio equipment and some free weights plus some machines. But it was not enough to get a decent strength workout in. Dumbbells didn’t go above 14 kg. No barbell or plates. Not even standard attachments for the pulley machine. A bit disappointing. Will we stay here again? Probably - but only because of M club lounge and the great Staff

The hotel is new with modern decor and amenities. Location-wise, it is almost directly across from a tram stop that will take you into the heart of the city as well as the main train station in about 15 minutes. There's really nothing around the hotel in terms of restaurants, etc. Hotel seems to cater to events -- for example, there was a business school graduation one night. Of note, some reviewers have mentioned "growing pains" due to the newness of the hotel, but I saw no evidence of this during my stay. The room itself was a bit on the sterile side. It was a jr. suite, complete with 2 bathrooms. The bathrooms were essentially mirror images. Would have been nice to have had one large bath with separate tub and shower. Did love the heated toilet, along with nice amenities and plenty of towels. The sofa was comfortable but there was an overhanging light that was easier than it should have been to hit. Large corner room but the (many) windows are narrow so the view isn't as expansive as it might be. One thing that was both good and bad. When you get out of bed at night, a nightlight near the bed goes on (helps you see your way to the bathroom). However, it was super easy to trigger the light just by turning in bed. With the nightlight going on every time you toss or turn, it's hard to sleep. M Club is huge with nice decor -- never had any trouble finding seating even when a very large group was there. Plenty of sodas and decent canned beer. Beyond that . . . bad. Marriott is really trending down in ex-US lounges (same issues in Frankfurt). The food consisted of two tiny "hot" (lukewarm) appetizers such as quail. There were a couple of small pre-made salads, olives, and cheese insufficient to feed a group of mice. Two nights there and I ate nothing. (Didn't do breakfast). In terms of beverages, one red wine, one white and one champagne. Not sure if mixed drinks were complimentary. There was a menu where you could order food and certain mixed drinks -- for a hefty price. If you want to stay in the hotel for dinner, the one restaurant (Italian) was ok. Service each night started out great and then fell off. The Cacio de Pepe had way too much cheese (think fettuccine Alfredo). Still, a decent place to eat. If you want German food, you'll need to go into town. Overall, I picked this hotel because it was new. I expected to be wowed and found myself a bit underwhelmed. Nothing to drive me away but also nothing that made me excited to return.

The Marriott City West opened its doors for fall of 2023. It is from the ground up brand new construction. I’ve stayed at the “other” Marriott property for over 20 years when in Munich, but had to check this place out. Overall impression: spotlessly clean interior throughout common areas and elevators. Service is spectacular, if not a little too omni-present. The hotel overlooks the rail yards between the hotel and the central station (HBF). If you think a hotel room overlooking an airport is fun, trains are great too! The construction is incredible, with soundproofing. You can’t hear a thing outside. Room: Used upgrade certificates or whatever the old SNA upgrades are called now for an Executive Suite. It was huge! Large living / sitting area with a bathroom. Walk in closet that connects to the large bathroom and bedroom. Bathroom offered a huge walk in shower with a waterfall ceiling shower head and a handheld. Pedestal bathtub was featured between the bathroom and bedroom. The bed was not the best I’ve slept on, but it was acceptable. Room also featured a Nespresso machine with several pods. Negatives: my suite had separate climate control for the bedroom and living room. It was a warm April week with daytime temps close to 80°. The living area was always uncomfortably warm, but the bedroom cooled to a comfortable temperature. No electric outlets near the furniture in the living room was a lack in planning. M Club: one of the nicest lounges I’ve been to at a Marriott. Regularly staffed by two people and they might hover a bit much, but it’s only to make sure guests have everything the need or want. Breakfast was acceptable. About 1/2 of the Marriotts I stay at in Europe allow the guests to choose between the lounge or dining room when a Titanium (or Platinum) elite. Not the case here, which was pointed out twice at the check in. Evening appetizers were tapas style and were very well prepared. Compliments to the hotel for stocking Weihenstephaner Helles and Weiss beer in the evening. The M Club also has a nice outside 7th floor terrace. Logistics: You are a bit from the city center, but you are by a number of key locations as well. The best tip is to learn how to navigate the street cars. Pick up the street car at the Hauptbahnhof or Karlsplatz… both street cars servicing this street stop right in front of the hotel. The S Bahn is about a 12 minute walk with a little elevation.

You can tell from the moment you check in that this hotel is very modern. The elevator will only allow you to access the floors that you are authorized to which is a huge safety feature. The rooms are nice, clean and have a one touch option when you are ready to sleep. The toilet on the other hand is the star of the room. Heated seat, self cleaning and even opens up for you when you enter the room. The rooms however were very warm and it would not allow us to lower the temperature so I needed to open a window to cool it off. The M Lounge was on the top floor and had plenty of space to spread out. It was a $20 taxi ride into town or train station and not much to do in the area of the hotel.

breakfast is very good with a lot of varieties, waiters are friendly. reception people are very nice as well. we had dinner for 2 people and food was not good and far away from known Italian quality and taste. Sophie at the Italian restaurant is very nice and considerate.
