"Very good hostel concept to make it affordable for everyone but the guests might be the problem. Some stay there a long time and their behavior is not the best one. I had that in my room and it was not really the best vibe. The hostel did a great job but they can’t do anything about the guests. The skybar was the highlight"
"Firstly the staff were great. Special mention to Joe. He was really friendly and went out of his way to be helpful, couldn’t have done more. We w3nt for a one night Octoberfest stay, location great, right by station, around 15 min walk to event. Rooms clean, showers good, strong water pressure! Storage for bags,
Budget hotel but done well. Would go back."
"This hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, making it incredibly easy to get to the BMW Museum, Munich Residenz, and Allianz Arena. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and check-in was efficient and swift. Our room was spacious and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was outstanding. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including both Western and German dishes, with the bread and coffee being particularly impressive."
"Location was good. Near the train station. Dining is easy with Halal food and supermarkets around the corner. Noise from outside can be heard if you open the windows. Luckily, there is a small fan for summer. Problems that we encountered were the smelly pee liked toilet and the door did not have a safety lock so it felt unsafe. Tried washing the toilet with water but the smell was still there."
"The hotel is brand new and fantastic. There's a bus stop right outside, and taxis are easily available; it's about 15 euros to Marienplatz, so getting around is very convenient. The minibar is refilled daily, and the breakfast is rich and varied. They have an underground parking garage, and you need a key card to use the elevator, which feels very secure. The rooms aren't huge, but the bathroom is very functional, and the bed, by European standards, is quite large and comfortable. There's a Vietnamese pho place and a sushi restaurant nearby, which I definitely recommend!"
"Check-in was a breeze as my family and I could check in an hour earlier than the stipulated check in time. However the service agent was not quite the most pleasant, he seems to be on a bad day.
Amenities wise, does have a gym and an awesome breakfast. But was a little disappointed when most of the TV channels were all in German (especially for an international brand like Hilton, one would expect more English channels).
Room wise was ok, standard what you would expect when booking a Hilton product.
Was hoping for a sauna room in the cold winter, but didn’t get it (oh wells. No worries)."
"very good location in Munich downtown and the room is big and clean, just the parking is a bit expensive for a night.
The breakfast with many options and tasty"
"This place is VERY EXPENSIVE! 300 € for one night? At that price, I would expect an all inclusive experience. All you get is a room. That being said, the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. I would have liked an extra pillow but there were none in the room. Breakfast is nearly 20 €, again too expensive for limited offering. That being said, the fruit was fresh and the coffee (machine) was delicious."
"I stayed at the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre for a business trip and overall had a good experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, directly connected to the S-Bahn station, making it easy to reach both the airport and the city center. The rooms are clean, functional, and well equipped — ideal for business travelers. The Wi-Fi works well, and the breakfast is rich and varied, with friendly and attentive staff. The common areas are spacious and modern, and there are several well-organized meeting rooms available.
On the downside, the atmosphere is quite “business-like,” so don’t expect a particularly cozy or boutique feel. Also, since it’s a large hotel, it can get a bit busy and noisy in the public areas. Overall, it’s a good business hotel with reliable service and a solid value for money. I would recommend it for business trips or for anyone looking for a practical, well-located base to explore Munich."
"The location is excellent as it is just next to the Main train station ( but the areas around the station are quite shabby).
The high-floor room I was given was spotless with a good view overlooking the city ( in front of the station ).
The staff were friendly and the breakfast had a wide selection of food.
I first came here more than 10 years ago and I still found the lobby and the room look renovated and modern.
I will stay here again if I go to Munchen in the future."

Very Good
MM239917****The room was nice, clean and tidy, the heating was very hot, the decoration was artistic, and the front desk service was enthusiastic. Because it was New Year's Eve, I could only book a room for one day and had to change hotels, which was a bit troublesome, but the hotel stored the luggage. There is no elevator in the annex building. I am on the second floor, next to the breakfast room, and light sleepers will be disturbed, but it can be avoided.
LLozzzzWonderful apartment style hotel, amenities great including lounge & workspace, bar, luxury restaurant (bit out of our price range but looked nice), gym, classes, pool and sauna (photo below). Apartment was clean and spacious, and terrace was lovely, although a bit cold and snowy in November. Buffet is €25pp breakfast which was a bit poor for what we paid, there wasn’t much left and it wasn’t refilled. All locally sourced products though. Hotel is very close to Aidenbachstraße bus station and underground station so super easy to travel into the city, about 10-20 minutes.
AAnonymous UserLet me be frank.
It's close to Munich's Hbf, with restaurants and a pharmacy nearby, which is convenient. The bed was large, but the pillows were a bit firm. We booked a business twin room, which had a spacious living area between the room and the bathroom. The slippers were comfortable, and the front desk was very helpful.
However, the housekeeping staff was clearly neglectful. On our first day, there were no slippers in the room, they forgot to turn on the kettle, and the shower gel was almost gone. We didn't ask for a housekeeping service on our second day, and they did on our third day, but they only changed one person's towel and forgot to refill the shower gel and shampoo.
The surroundings and the traffic were complex. As we approached the small street leading to the hotel, we could clearly see the crowds. On our travels, we often stayed near train stations in various overseas cities. While there was a lot of traffic, it seemed like everyone was going about their daily routines. The street where the Three Lions Hostel is located is noticeably more complex (there are always idle people standing on both sides), and some of the signs on the shops suggest it might be a complex place. I felt a little strange every time I passed by. Ctrip didn't mention this at all, which is a bit wrong. If you are a single woman or a family with young children, I don't recommend staying there.

AAKADAI stayed here on New Year's Eve.
I had heard that the New Year's fireworks in Munich never stopped, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to sleep, but the room was very quiet and airtight, so I was able to sleep peacefully.
It's a very unique and interesting hotel, but it was disappointing that the bed was expensive and difficult to use, and that there were no slippers or bathrobes. Other than that, I think it was good.

AAToiI recently stayed at Flemings Hotel for three nights and found its location to be exceptional. Just a 5-minute walk from München Hauptbahnhof (central station), the hotel is also very close to Marienplatz and easily walkable to the renowned art museums, making it perfect for travelers wanting to explore Munich on foot.
The room was noticeably clean, maintaining a high standard of housekeeping. However, one unusual design feature stood out - the fully glass toilet area. While visually modern, this design choice completely lacks privacy, which felt awkward and uncomfortable. It's something potential guests should be aware of before booking.
The hotel's Italian restaurant was a consistent highlight of my stay. I dined there every evening, and the dinner service was exceptional. The service staff during dinner were particularly outstanding - attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was consistently good, making my evening meals a real pleasure.
Unfortunately, my last day brought a stark contrast. I decided to try the hotel's breakfast, and the experience was disappointing. The service staff at breakfast was noticeably different - the approach felt rude and impersonal. The way payment and room number were requested came across as condescending, which was a significant departure from the warmth I'd experienced during dinner. The breakfast itself was underwhelming, with little to recommend.
To sum up, the hotel offers a great location and excellent dinner service, but comes with some notable inconsistencies. The glass toilet design might be a deal-breaker for those seeking privacy, and the breakfast service needs improvement. For travelers who prioritize location and don't mind an unconventional bathroom layout, this hotel could still be a solid choice.

AAsh76OK - the good -
The rooms are spacious, bed is large, the bathroom is lux with marble floors.
it is also in a great location. It is close to the train station and has a Lidl behind it.
The barman Jan is friendly and helpful.
And the not so good -
The rooms do not have a fridge, a microwave and not even a kettle!
When I enquired about the tea and coffee facilities, I was curtly told if I wanted coffee I could buy it downstairs.
It is difficult to understand how a hotel can justify a 4 star rating if it doesn't have anything more than a bed and a bathroom.
And then there is the room temperature. It's a furnace in the room I think the temperature was set to 29 degrees C!!
And the room temperature can't be changed in room. Only the reception can.
Even if they change it, it resets the next day.
I'm not sure why this hotel needs a sauna... Just stay in the room.
As has been noted in another review on Tripadvisor, this issue is ongoing. He noted it in 2017 and again in 2019 but nothing has changed.
Secondly is the staff attitude. They aren't rude but not friendly either. Likely they are worn down by the same issues getting raised while they are powerless to change it themselves.
Unsurprisingly, I was not offered a late check out.
The main advantage of location is lost by all the disadvantages.
If that's why you want to stay here, don't let the photo's trick you, book another better hotel nearby.
\\O_O/Given the comments I read from other travellers, the hotel actually has far exceeded my expectation. First of all, there is a U-bahn station right next to the hotel, which takes you only 2 minutes to the central station. The room is spacious, clean and air-conditioned, which is rather rare among other hotels in Germany. It also comes with a large window, which makes the entire room bright and cosy. The front-desk service is 24 hours. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
GGuest UserThe room is very clean, has good lighting, sufficient heating, and is equipped with a refrigerator and safe. The location is 6-7 minutes' walk from the train station. There are tram stops, subways, supermarkets, pharmacies, snack bars, etc. around, making it convenient to travel. Rooms facing the street will hear the sound of trams passing by at night, so it is recommended to choose a room facing the inner courtyard.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit small, but the price is cheap and the breakfast was really delicious. The staff were all friendly and there was an elevator, so it was easy to move my luggage. The reception is on the 2nd floor, so please keep that in mind.
