Pod Inn (Beijing West Railway Station) Reviews

We needed to book a last minute hotel close to the station as we missed the last train. This was close however it was so difficult to find. There are no obvious signs for POD INN. Only in Chinese. Took us 30 minutes to find it and local businesses didn't have a clue either. If you’re looking for it, it’s at the end of the block with the pharmacy on the left in green. POD INN sign is green on the right. Once there it served its purpose. Got what we paid for. We’re only there for a few hours to get our heads down.

Overall really good. The staff was cooperative and rooms were clean. Hot water all day. Really enjoyed our stay. Subway line 9 was also near. You can see the station picture attached.

This hotel is mostly suitable for layovers I think. It's location is fairly close to the Railway station and there are a couple restaurants nearby. Small clean rooms, with all of the basic amenities you would expect. My bed was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean, it was a good time. There was some sort of situation where I think the elevator was being repaired during my trip, so the staff showed me and a few other customers to the stairs so that we could return to our rooms. Unfortunately the doors for stairs at each floor were locked so we had to wait a while to actually return to our rooms, as the staff tried to contact another staff member to open the doors. A strange situation, not sure why the stairs entrance wasn't accounted for, while the elevator was being repaired. in conclusion: Despite my take-out dinner getting extremely cold as I waited to be allowed back into the hotel, I don't have any real problems with the hotel, it's a good value for the price.

Location is good, and for this price is a nice choice. However the rooms are very simple.

I booked it on short notice and got a special room, which was very cost-effective! I used to book it frequently, but every time I booked it on short notice, I never booked it in advance, mainly because the itinerary was uncertain!

Clean, quiet, cheap, friendly front desk service, Ctrip customer service is also very reliable. I accidentally booked two hotels and forgot everything. At the last minute of the limited time to cancel, Ctrip customer service called me and asked what happened. I suddenly remembered and quickly canceled to avoid losses. This incident was not a big deal, but it touched me deeply. I will not choose Ctrip for future travel.

It's OK. I can understand it, but I don't think it's worth the price. The front desk was nice and gave me a room with a window.

The room was clean, the bed was clean, there was no odor, the service was thoughtful, purified water was in the lobby, if you wanted to drink hot water, you could get it yourself, and there were two bottles of free purified water in the room, which solved the problem of not having water to drink. Disposable cups and disposable slippers were very comfortable. Let's talk about eating, there is a common people restaurant at the door, the food is delicious and the price is very affordable.

The bed was too hard and the toilet seat in the bathroom was broken.

I have stayed here twice. Beijing is a place with expensive land. There is no way around it. The room is small. It is cost-effective. In addition, the walls still need to be renovated. Some places are peeling.
