Located in a houtong area, so close to the main centre, this hostel is perfectly located. It has a traditional garden and a good kitchen. The rooms with bunk beds aren't big enough, and there is just one good shower and bathroom. It may be suggested to tell that traditional houtong has no private bathrooms. There are a lot very near to the hostel even with shower.

It's my first time staying in a youth hostel. The a**osphere and environment are so good!!! I really like it. The boss is also very nice and can speak foreign languages. Living here makes me want to pick up English. I really envy being able to chat with foreigners.

Very friendly hostel, with a cozy lounge! The person at reception is friendly, the tours offered to hike the Chinese Wall are good (more expensive than going there yourself, but so much simpler). Good location: near a metro station and in the Hutongs district (arriving in the evening, you might be afraid of not finding the hostel in these dark alleys, but in reality it's easy by following the GPS and it's really not far from the metro). On the other hand, negative point: collective toilets not clean at all, only 1 shower worked out of the 2, and the toilet block is at the back of the courtyard, so you have to put your coat and shoes back on to access it.

It’s very bad experience, will never book in this hotel again, i don’t recommend it to anyone, be aware it was very terrible, the rooms very dirty, smells bad for all the day, the beds were broken, lockers not working, the reception lady not available most of the time, electricity cut few times during my stay.
